That's right, it's almost that time of year again... the end of it. And for the sixth time FAN members have the opportunity to vote for the best and worst of the WWE wrestling year in the annual FAN WWE Awards, the Golden Snowcones. A bit more refining has taken place for the awards this year, with 21 categories carrying over from 2015 in a continued effort to reduce bloat in article size and to increase voter numbers (some in the past have felt overwhelmed by the sheer amount of categories). These 21 should be set in stone now, and I feel should cover the most important events of WWE this year... Categories (21): Best Male Superstar Worst Male Superstar Best Female Superstar Worst Female Superstar Best Tag Team Worst Tag Team Best Match Worst Match Best Promo/Non-Wrestling Segment Worst Promo/Non-Wrestling Segment Best PPV/Major Event Worst PPV/Major Event Best Feud Worst Feud Most Improved Superstar Most Exciting Moment Most Hilarious Moment Most Disappointing Moment Most Embarrassing Moment Most WTF? Moment Best SpotNOMINATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO VOTED IN THE AWARDS IN 2016.From here, the results will be calculated and the winners will be announced in an article on the main website at www.freakinawesomenetwork.net on or around New Year's Day 2017. And as always, do remember that it's all in good fun. Past Results:2011201220132014 Part 1 - 2014 Part 22015

I'm probably going to wait until Roadblock: End of the Line to finalize mine, but I'm pretty sure I've known some of these choices for a while.

If Shining Stars get Worst Tag Team, I'll be very sad.
I'd give it to The Club with much reluctance. Their booking definitely sucks, definitely, but they've been featured a ton. I can't think of a really good match they've had or a good segment. They were at their best as AJ's back-up singers.

The Club, below the likes of the Golden Truth, The Vaudevillains, and The Ascension? Those two months where they were AJ's backup is more than any of these teams ever showed this year.

There has to be a "Best Object" Award for this year. Can that be a write-in Nomination? Because we've had quite a few...
The top three Nominations I throw in being: Jericho's List, Skarsgard, and Vanguard-1

How about that Pie that hit Owens in the face during that Cold Open Foodfight?

I'd definitely give it to Golden Truth but I remember they won over some of FAN with their love story. So, sadly, I worry they won't 'win.' I wouldn't give it to scrubs like Shining Stars, The Vaudevillains, and The Ascension. It'd be unfair because they're not even relevant enough to be 'worst' anything. Out of the three, Gotch and English were featured most and I actually liked their brief run at New Day.

The only love story I remember getting over was when a certain pretty man came forward with a person possessing the most bodacious dance moves. That was a match made in heaven. I guess I might be talking about Golden Truth.

I'm sad that Mania 32 angered me so much that I haven't watched enough WWE to vote in this.
Thank god for Smackdown

Worst male is tough Del Rio at least had a good MitB performance but that's a paltry return for his push/$22.3m contract. Titus provided nothing worthwhile but then he never beat Cena.
Del Rio dragged Paige down with him, Titus torpedoed Darren Young's chances of being great again.
Similar to the tag discussion I guess.

WTF moment could be whoever decided that after the Titus O'Neil/Darren Young feud that it was Titus that should stay on TV, and Young should be taken off.

Anyone giving worst tag team to the Shining Stars isn't watching them in the ring, they do some really good different stuff.

There has to be a "Best Object" Award for this year. Can that be a write-in Nomination? Because we've had quite a few... The top three Nominations I throw in being: Jericho's List, Skarsgard, and Vanguard-1 How could you forget MITCH. Don't forget Jericho's Scarf too. ----------------------------------------- Anyway....to the topic at hand. I reserve the right to edit these at some point. But I'm pretty comfortable with these picks right off the top of my head. Best Male Superstar - AJ Styles (He's been so good...so so good.) (Dean, Jericho and Nakamura deserve consideration too) Worst Male Superstar - Titus Best Female Superstar - Sasha & Becky (Sasha's my favorite & I think she's been great this year. But Becky has been just as great if not slightly better. So I'm going "co-winners" though I KNOW, the way this board has swung in recent weeks/months, Becky will win this running away) Worst Female Superstar - Eva Marie (Yes, her entrance is dope in a really corny way...but....that's literally everything she's got. Well that and her...uhhh....I'll stop now.) Best Tag Team - LEGISLATERS BAAAAAAAAAAY-BAY! (The Revival & Alpha are there...but I'm incredibly biased hahaa) Worst Tag Team - The Vaudvillans (When you can't even revive yourselves on Smackdown you've got problems. Same can be said for the Ascension I suppose....) Best Match - Nakamura/Zayn @ Takeover Dallas Worst Match - not really sure honestly.... Best Promo/Non-Wrestling Segment - This one is hard, especially with Talking Smack being eligible. Dean, Cena & Miz are all possibilities here...but I'll go with THAT Miz promo from Talking Smack. But, man, it's really close between the 3. Worst Promo/Non-Wrestling Segment - Brock/Heyman in Minneapolis. (I LOVE both...and I think Heyman is goddamn money on the mic alway...but this was just bad on many levels, most of them beyond Heyman's control) Best PPV/Major Event - Takeover Dallas Worst PPV/Major Event - pains me to say...Wrestlemania Best Feud - AJ/Dean (both have been totally killing it in this thing. Being a big fan of both, it's been an absolute JOY to watch.) Worst Feud - Titus/Darren Young (voting ends with a roll up by Darren...then Titus kicked Backland afterward.) Most Improved Superstar - Heath Slater. Sure, Dean found a new gear with the brand split but...my GOD Heath has been a revelation. From lowest of the low mid-card/comedy jobber to (arguably) one of the most over guys on the roster AND a tag team champion? All while telling a compelling story (seriously...he stood TOE TO TOE with friggin BROCK in an effort to get a job...f***ing compelling stuff. Real Talk.) Most Exciting Moment - Slater and Rhyno winning the tag titles OR Nakamura's entrance at Takeover Dallas Most Hilarious Moment - Most Disappointing Moment - Pretty much everything on the Raw side of the brand split. Pockets of awesome/fun/great aside, Raw has been a continual disappointment. Most Embarrassing Moment - Top 3; 1. Old Day 2. Old Day 3. Old Day (so...basically...yeah. Jesus.) Most WTF? Moment - "One minute and twenty-six seconds? WHAT?" Best Spot - can I just vote for all of AJ's Big Match spots? Seriously.....he's been so goddamn money this year. Best "Object" - A murders row...even when you DON'T factor Broken Matt into it....but it comes down to Mitch & The LIST. But I gotta go with The List. Jesus Jericho's money too.
