I note that this a spoiler because this match will be airing on NXT TV next week... Or at least until WWE themselves blab about it, in which case I retitle everything. With that out of the way to fill the "mouse hover" space, here is the result... AND NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Eh, I get the move to do it, and it was completely obvious, but still pretty much falls under the, "Nakamura does everything so effortlessly and got the belt so quickly it's hard to give a damn about him," umbrella for me. Though hopefully this means 1), they don't do the match at the next Takeover, and 2), Joe comes up soon.

This was basically a "loser gets into the Rumble match next month" match.
So either way, we all win really.

Does this mean that Joe is going to win the title back in Melbourne?
Does this also mean that the NXT Championship is gonna turn into a hot potato like the Women's Championship?

Nakamura retains in Melbourne, Joe officially moves up to debut in the Rumble. Which would imply that Takeover: San Antonio's main event would be {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Nakamura vs Bobby Roode

I know it was in Nakamura's home country, but nothing is ever canon in Australia.

If they start beating us over the head about how every time either guy even so much as farts, it's the most historic thing EVER, then be very worried. Nah. You don't. You first have to introduce special guest timekeeper The Undertaker and guest referee Finn Balor.

And Joe won the title back at Toronto, why, exactly?

And Joe won the title back at Toronto, why, exactly? So Nakamura could get a big title win in his home country? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Yeah, considering the recent NXT tapings set up Bobby Roode as the next number one contender, Nakamura winning the title back was the smart thing to do. I can't see Joe vs. Roode/heel vs. heel working for the San Antonio main event.

I hope we get Nakamura/Itami for the title eventually. Apparently Itami came out a cut a promo the same night. Story kinda writes itself like the Balor/Itami feud that we never got. Would help if Itami could stay healthy of course.

I'm so anxious for him changing the stripe of the NXT belt to white, then losing it to Bobby Roode, then winning it back, then losing it to Hideo, then winning it back and then vacating it because he is going to the main roster...

So get highlights on next week's NXT or what? Sweet
Instead of fantasybooking the NXT title scene (and moaning),how about enjoying the good matches? Crazy I know

I don't know why anyone would fantasy book NXT anyway. It literally doesn't matter who holds a belt on there, since it is to the champ's advantage to lose so he can get called up.

Do I think it was the best move to have Joe win only to have him lose it 2 weeks later? Not really no but there is a decent enough logic behind the decision.
