After the success of Gilmore Girls and Fuller House Crackle is all in on the nostalgia reboot bandwagon and plan to bring the cast of the 90's TGIF show back in 2018

I feel like this is a great analogy:
Al: Dean Ambrose Dana: Seth Rollins Karen: Roman Reigns
But they kept pushing Karen as the hot one.
Other than that, I have nothing to add. Although I am curious as to if they'll explain the one kid's disappearance. Or did he fall into the Bermuda Triangle that the Winslow daughter and Cunningham son fell into when they went upstairs?

As someone who liked this show and has thought about it somewhat recently, who tf asked for this??? Fuller House, I get. The original Full House gained a lot of fame/notoriety for several reasons (Danny Tanner contrasting with Bob Saget's stand-up, the Olsen Twins in general, being really sappy), but Step by Step? That show was a footnote...a footnote with a nice theme song, but a footnote either way.

I don't see the demand for this. Like the previous poster said, Full House, despite its problem, was a cultural hit. Also, what would it be this time? Rich and Dana's kids from different parents and the two got back together when their previous marriages didn't work? Would JT and Sam be married?

I think it's telling that it went to a syndication run a few years ago on... that one network that went away that I can't remember the name of (MLP and Animaniacs reruns were on it) and it didn't even finish one run through of the series before it was yanked. Not even one!

What's the twist though?
Like that Oliver Twist show that instead of orphans, we get sexy detectives.

If done right, I might check it out, why not. 'Step by Step' wasn't the best show ever but whatever. I used to honestly watch cause I had a crush on Staci Keanan (who played Dana) growing up, even when she was on 'My 2 Dads'. But kinda weird to hear what the cast has been up to, Keanan is an accountant now, the girl who played Karen has cut out talking to anyone from the show for some reason according to Christine Lakin, who played Al. And the guy who played J.T. was shot in both arms a while back.

I liked Step By Step the first time I saw it.
When it was called The Brady Bunch.

As someone who liked this show and has thought about it somewhat recently, who tf asked for this??? No one, but an exec probably thinks it's a thing we all want; so they pushed it in their own circles and suddenly it's the next big giant social media event.

If they jsut use the name and basic concept, it will probably be fine. If they try and just make it about the old characters, not so much. However I will take Christine Lakin on my tube in any way, shape, or form.

I enjoyed the way Suzanne Somers looked, but the show was pretty forgettable.
