Don't know where Eli was today, but happy to see that Steve Spagnuolo has seemed to channel his 2007 self.

SWEEEEEEEEP!
This is a Big Blue D that Strahan and LT could be proud of. Now if only the offense got their heads out of their collective asses.

Pathetic outing. Just pathetic. Chance to sew up the division and you just suck on all levels. Pathetic. Ah you guys still have this pretty much locked up.

Dallas lost one game in row, but two bad games by the offense, so perhaps the pressure, perhaps the league has figured them out. Doesn't get easy, the Bucs they have been on a role.

The Detroit Lions are now slotted for a first round bye. They've gone 8-1 since starting 1-3 Unfortunately for the Lions, their last 3 games are a LOT tougher than the last 3 games of the Seahawks, who sit just .5 games behind them. Lions are AT Giants and AT Cowboys before hosting the Packers, meanwhile the Seahawks host the Rams and Cardinals before going to 49ers. I still think the Seahawks are a good team despite how badly they played today, and they seem very likely to end up the 2 seed, which means, most importantly, they don't need to go back to Green Bay this season. To be fair, the Seahawks could play as badly as they did today and still beat the Rams and San Fran.

The most Giants thing now would be to beat the Lions, but lose to Philly on a Thursday night.
We've seen Eli and the Giants mix in magnificence with moments of welp.

Also, Green Bay, aside from ending the year in Detroit, goes to Chicago next week and has Minnesota at Lambeau on Christmas Eve, and those are two very winnable matchups. So it's a very outside shot but Green Bay can still take the North.

I said it before, but this season has all the makings of a 2000's Giants Super Bowl. Good record, but week to week you don't know who's going to show up.
That Giants defense...coming into the season, everyone thought the offense was going to go off and the defense was suspect. Now the offense is a wet fart that lives and dies by the big play.

Jeff Fisher has been fired as LA Rams' head coach, as per Chris Mortensen. twitter.com/mortreport/status/808395901056249857I said it before, but this season has all the makings of a 2000's Giants Super Bowl. Good record, but week to week you don't know who's going to show up. That Giants defense...coming into the season, everyone thought the offense was going to go off and the defense was suspect. Now the offense is a wet fart that lives and dies by the big play. Defense improved in a lot of key aspects. Until he got injured, JPP was playing like his all pro self pre-fireworks accident. Olivier Vernon got off to a shaky start, but was also playing injured. Now that he's healthy, he's excellent. Jenkins and Snacks have been excellent additions as well. Apple has promising talent. Collins' progression from last year to this year has been incredible to watch. As for the offense, they have the skills positions set. Their biggest problem is the offensive line, unfortunately. And it gets even worse with Pugh injured and a godawful player like Marshall Newhouse in his place. They also need a real left tackle so Flowers can play right tackle, his more natural position, instead. That o-line is the biggest difference between the Giants being a divisional round exit and a Super Bowl contender, IMO.

The o-line is awful, and unfortunately Eli gets the brunt of the criticism for it. Ereck Flowers and Marshall Newhouse are horrible, and last night, Flowers should have been holding a matador's cape with the blocking he was doing.

Chris Hogan thinks something is wrong with his hand. Just shake it a lot, seemed to always work for that other Hogan.
