Every year I try at least one egg nog... and am reminded that it's not really that good. Also, stuff flavored like peppermint.

Matchmakers, Quality Street, Celebrations.. the usual stuff here. I used to love it when Chocolate Oranges did a white chocolate version of it, then they stopped doing them. Bastards!

It's been a tradition for my stepmother to get me a Whitman's Sampler as one of my Xmas gifts.
Also, while it's not candy: Frozen Pudding ice cream (if I can find it).

You can still get some of the flavours here as part of the "segsations" boxes but they're just individually wrapped segments.

About the Chocolate Oranges; since marmalade is candied zest & rinds, why can't we have a chocolate/orange marmalade?

I mark out for all the candies shaped like other things for the season...or colored in red/green, even though they prob. taste exactly the same.

For years, the idea of a Terry's Chocolate Orange seemed revolting to me until I actually tried one at a Christmas party a few years back and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty they actually were.

I got a nice chuckle out of this because my brother said something similar to me today. Then I made a half joke about egg nog shots. I like white fudge in general, but I love the white fudge offerings that pop up around Christmas. I also like to sip on cranberry ginger ale. I use to hurt Christmas candy back in the day, but holiday candy is something people in my house think about getting, but never actually buy.
