Bruce is a fine storyteller who can tell a good yarn, but his hatred of the wrestling media gets old. Plus, Conrad omits a lot of stuff. The Luger in WWF episode missed a few things that may have factored into that and they also got a few things wrong like Hogan's 1993 title run. Bruce says Vince wanted the belt on Hogan when he was brought back so he could headline a European tour as champ. Except the tour took place 2 months after Hulk drops the belt to Yoko at KOTR. They ignored Hogan wrestling Muta at a NJPW show at the Tokyo Dome while still WWF champ. Hogan in the post-show press conference challenges for the IWGP title while burying the WWF and its title. Also no mention of Bret's claim that he and Hogan were to headline Summerslam. Both of those stories should be examined more when you talk the 1993 WWF and the decision to push Luger.
I rolled my eyes at the Montreal Screwjob and Sunny episodes. The former again omitted facts and Bruce played Vince as the victim and the latter episode bordered on slut shaming.

After hearing the Rick Rude one, I couldn't stop laughing at the rumor about injecting viagra onto his dick directly. Also Jake Robert's rat giving Jake a blowjob and then kissing Rude in the rude awakening segment. But the best part was Bruce getting drunk and prank calling everyone as Dusty. That rat story was nasty but Conrad asking Bruce what the blowback from the incident was and Bruce no selling that play on words popped me. The prank call story was great. I never get tired of hearing stories like that. I do get tired of every catchphrase and funny one liner having to get a t-shirt. That's getting a bit ridiculous.

Bruce is an old carny squeezing every dollar. Now they're gonna have a second podcast but on a paid service. Normally I wouldn't spend a buck to listen to a podcast, but this has been so good. Like we learned from the inside how f***ed up TNA truly is, to how a royal rumble is booked, and Vince is just a crazy redneck on the inside. There's just too much stuff I want to hear, like the invasion, and if Bruce admits that Shawn Michaels and the whole new generation era was a mistake.

Show grew on me. Didn't enjoy the constant Big Dave bashing at the start, but I can understand Bruce's frustrations with the man. Since that's become less frequent, the show has become much more enjoyable.
Conrad is a great host. Love when he calls Bruce out on his shit. Good to have a co-host that isn't just a suck-up and asks questions where they're needed.
Fantastic podcast.

You know you love a podcast when you see it appear on your phone and become a tad disappointed it's "only" 2 hours. LOL Haha that's exactly what I thought

Not just that, but they have great chemistry and you can tell genuinely enjoy each others' company without taking things too personally when topics get heated. They have a really cool friendship and it makes the whole podcast really fun.

In the Ric Flair show, Conrad didn't had that level of friendship with Bruce.

I felt like there were a ton of ads in the latest episode. Like every 10 minutes break for something.

Like, I 100% appreciate your frustrations with the inaccuracies of timelines but ya gotta remember that Bruce Prichard partied so hard during his 20+ years with the company that by the end he was pissing in a cup every week to keep his employment. He's bound to fudge the details from time to time. And Conrad does rather exhaustive prepping with his notes to keep the topic of the week continuing. He misses shit too, its generally why the first half hour of each episode is him "putting a bow" on the previous week's topic and asking all the questions that fans told him he missed.

Just started listening with the royal rumble 94 and 97 also the Matt Hardy edge and lita one. Currently going through the last nitro episode. Pretty enjoyable. I think Bruce does try to dodge some things but Conrad gets him to go on most the time
I enjoy Brices hate for Meltzer and Jerry Jarrett

I felt like there were a ton of ads in the latest episode. Like every 10 minutes break for something. Yeah, it's getting to be a bit much. You can tell that monetizing the show in every way possible is a priority lately. Can't blame them, I suppose. But excessive ads worked into the middle of conversations is lame. There's that, the selling of the shirts, selling tickets to the WrestleMania weekend show, and now this week they're talking about doing a subscription model for an extra show each week. I'd be a little concerned about racing through too many subjects too quickly. In less than a year, they've already discussed the majority of the major topics pertaining to his time working for the WWF. Adding a second show every week will only burn though what's left more quickly. At least he has a 30 year career to talk about, and won't run out of good stories to tell as fast as guys like Court Bauer and Alex Greenfield, who were only on a writing team for a cup of coffee. I'm surprised the chicken salad shirt doesn't have a blue apron on it, too.

Color me excited for a JCP/WCW equivalent, but it will only work if Schiavone has half the charisma of Bruce and even after that, a third of the chemistry that Conrad and Bruce have.
Still, I am hopeful. Wold be great to find out behind the scenes of Jim Herd and Bill Watts WCW
