I'd like to see Mister Bob Backlund inducted. His maniacal turn should certainly qualify as wrestlecrap. He feuded with Man Mountain Rock because rock music was corrupting the morals of our youth. He misused and mispronounced long words in an attempt to sound educated. He advocated implanting metal rings into the foreheads of criminals. He campaigned for the presidency of the United States, arguing with "Bill Clinton" at a pay per view and yelling at young vacationers in Florida (did he visit a wet t-shirt contest to criticize the participants?). He used the cross-face chicken wing against everyone in sight (including Lou Gianfriddo) and stared at his hands afterward, implying that he had evil hands that took control of his entire being. And for some reason he ended up managing the Sultan. Surely this has to qualify as wrestlecrap? actually cashfire your a smark and i am a pissed off cena markk. damnit ta hell wit ya! no but seriously like are all smarks boring and go on the net or do they actually do fun things?why do you post here? what is your poison? the non corrupting morals of youth aren't where it is to end or begin with. so there goes your arguement, out the window. musta been that prince albert guy who advocated implanting metal rings into the foreheads of the crimially devious bad guys. He didn't really campaign for the presidency of the United States, instead he refused to be baited not arguing at a pay per view and whispering at old and young vacationers in Florida and California (no he visited a dry t-shirt contest to criticize the participants?). He used the uncrossed-face chicken wing for everyone out of sight and within sight (excluding Lee GfriaakoaadahJ) and stared at his elbows afterward, and yet had semi-good hands that turned evil and monopolized his soul. Also did not end up remanaging any evil genies. Not surely has to qualify as wrestlecrap? Ummm...huh?!? What the hell are you talking about?

WSX wasn't crap at all. sure, they had some phony explosions, and cheesy graphics that don't belong on a wrestling show. But they were different, trying to be different, and had exceptional talent that fit their so-called "society". The only reason they went down the tubes was because it was on 11:30 pm on a tuesday night. Who's gonna stay up that late to watch a 30 min wrestling show?
As much as I like wrestling, waiting until 11:30 to watch a half hour of wrestling, that's just asking for too much.
One more thing, WSX, a lot like most of the other programs, do not belong on Music Television (MTV).

No way should WSX be inducted. It was different, it wasn't crap. It was wrestling for the 'Jackass Generation' as I like to put it

I feel it is almost biblically prophetic to create a Jobber of the Year award for just for Marty Garner. If you want to talk about crap, how about putting someone like Garner in the ring--an obvious man of many great...uh...talents--and having him lose to a man whose gimmick positively embodies the true form of jobbing, for which all other jobbers are made in that image?
Losing to Simon Dean's rebirth as a black man has to count for something. I'm putting down my vote for Marty Garner.

You can add about the King of The Ring 1995 event is I believe that the Undertaker's "Creatures of the Night" were Shane-o-mac and Stephanie aka Nipple H.

Just wondering if anybody else (besides me) has the complete idiots guide to pro wrestling. lol I'd love to discuss how terrible it is. (The Rocky Melvin thing isn't even close to being the worst mistake)

(The Rocky Melvin thing isn't even close to being the worst mistake) I remember going to my library and picking it up, and looking back on it...it was horrid. It was such a huge book, but not one page of it made sense.

lol here's some gems
Lodi's name spelled- Lido Kanyon's name spelled- Kenyon
How vince mcmahon brought wrestlers such as hogan, andre and Sgt Slaughter in for wrestlemania 1 ( Slaughter's first wrestlemania was number 6, pretty ridiculous since the firggen author was in Wrestlemania 1)
Yokozuna weighed in at 360 pounds
and don't get me started on the wrestlers finishers

One I'd like to see inducted - UK Rampage '93. I dunno if it ever made it beyond these shores but it was beyond abysmal (I'd already had my faith in the WWF severely shaken by Wrestlemania IX a few weeks earlier). Put it this way, the previous year us Brits had had not only Summerslam '92 but a pretty damn good UK Rampage event as well including Bret Hart vs Rick Martel, Davey Boy vs IRS and Macho Man vs Shawn Michaels among others. The main event of the '93 one was Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs The Narcissist (which was every bit as bad as you'd think) and also included such "gems" as Typhoon vs The Brooklyn Brawler, Bob Backlund vs Damian Demento, Kamala (post-face turn) vs Doink and Brian Knobbs vs Fatu. Talk about scraping the barrel...
