Lots of people never thought Shawn would wrestle again. He did. Never say never. Regardless of prior symptoms. I also don't think he wrestles anywhere else other than WWE if it came to pass. Shawn had a bad back. Back problems are kind of not the same as, you know, brain problems.

Shawn had a drug problem that was covered by a "back issue." He cleaned himself up and magically wrestled again.

I really just want him to have one more "match", where he does his entrance in his gear and all, but immediately hits the Yes Lock and wins. He deserved an official goodbye match. After almost a year since retiring, I also don't really see what he could do in today's WWE landscape, even if he had unfinished business as WWE champion. If they do that it has to against Sheamus at WM.

I, like many contributors on here, have been expecting a Miz v Bryan match at Mania for months. And the build has been brilliant.
Whether or not he should wrestle is a completely different matter. I've suffered from concussions in the past, I now live with the repercussions. IF Bryan can be cleared and is 100% after all stringent tests then I'm all for it. Until that can be done, I don't like the idea of it on those obvious health grounds.

I hope not. New family and kid on the way, his quality of life over the next forty years or so is way more important than any sort of send off could be.

He should put Miz or Sheamus away at WrestleMania in 17 seconds. Vince McMahon deserves to have all his outside ventures belly up for the way he purposely held Bryan down in 2013. Him, Hunter, Stephanie and Big Show all should be ashamed of themselves for that fall. Treating gold like garbage, it's disgusting. Wrestlemania 30 pretty much wiped that debt clean. If it were me, I'd trade having one of the biggest Wrestlemania happy endings over a probably nice enough but ultimately forgettable title reign, which is what he'd have probably got if not for the Authority storyline. Think about it. CM Punk was WWE Champion for like a year or whatever, but he also would have probably rather had main evented WM once, something he never got to do.

True, he claims he wants to wrestle but WWE will not let him. Yet he cannot let the limelight and big $$$ go in favour of wrestling.

I certainly don't want to see him wrestle if it means he gets f***ed and is never able to play with his kid/s.

As much as I like the Miz's work, if Bryan was going to wrestle another match, it shouldn't be wasted on the Miz.

I get so irritated when I see Daniel Bryan not as a wrestler. Because the WWE was so petty, vindictive, and stupid in not seeing the money he could've made them when fans were going bananas over him. Truly a wasted opportunity and the fact that they didn't give him any meaningful feuds/storylines when he won the championship makes me even more angrier. There's a chance he will wrestle again and I sincerely hope he does in some fashion. He deserved far more than what he was given. What's worse is that it looks like so much of the wear and tear on his body was suffered because of him trying to get WWE to see his potential. "Sure! I'll wrestle completely amazing, balls out, show-stealing matches every single night (or multiple times in a given night)!" But by the time they were ready to give him a shot, it was too late. It may go down as one of the all-time tragedies in professional wrestling, and that's a tough list to crack. If just because so many of the worst days of Bret Hart's life are on there.

Erm, pretty sure 99% of the 'disgusting' treatment was a storyline.

Daniel Bryan made the right decision, as much as it sucks for us fans to see him sidelined, it would hurt much more to hear about him getting wheelchair bound. He's about to have a kid and that should his main focus. Could be one of those things where he wants to do it now, but the moment his kid is born his perspective could change about the whole thing.

I don't want it.
Love the guy and his overall body of work, but if there's any potential serious risk to his health then I'd rather he stay away.
WrestleMania 30's booking was satisfying enough for me as a fan. I'm good.

Shawn had a bad back. Back problems are kind of not the same as, you know, brain problems. This is largely irrelevant to the point I was making in the first place. Never say never is the point. The same thing was said about Flair after he survived a plane crash. Bryan isn't Droz. It's just a bit silly for armchair doctors that have never seen his medical records to sit here and say oh, he's never wrestling again, they'll never clear him, etc. etc. based on what's been stated publicly. It may be the case today that he isn't wrestling, but situations change. Medical diagnoses can be updated. New tests for concussion protocol are being developed regularly. The chance is there that Bryan wrestles again. Whether its high, low, or slim is not the point.

True, he claims he wants to wrestle but WWE will not let him. Yet he cannot let the limelight and big $$$ go in favour of wrestling. Bryan asked for his release with the intent of going to wrestle elsewhere. WWE refused to grant it. The final battery of tests are what scared Bryan in to retirement, but in an interview a while back he suggested he maybe shouldn't have reacted so quickly to those results.

Im sure WWE will let him.
After he signs a waiver to never be able to sue them over any injuries that he gets.
