Everyone get their Christmas shopping done? Managed to complete mine after dealing with several back and forth trips to the mall, Wal-Mart, and Target. So glad to be done and at home relaxing away from the madness.

I've finally made it through all of the Christmas movies/specials I normally watch, so I've moved on to 'borderline' Christmas movies. Currently watching Batman Returns and I'm still confident in my belief that this is the best Batman movie. YEAH, YOU HEARD ME.

Still not done with Christmas stuff, I cried for about 12 hours today. I think it's bedtime.

Lame how something like a ticking clock echoing can almost send me into a panic attack. What a way to start my weekend. Ugh, and some medical professionals say people with sound sensitivity should not use earplugs. Right.

I think I should maybe take a break on staying up late. I'm starting to hear weird noises/voices. That, or I'm slowly turning into Randy Orton and will hate wearing pants.

So glad to be done and at home relaxing away from the madness. My family gets money this year. Cash. Get your own damn presents. For years I tied myself into a knot trying to figure out the perfect gift, the right size, the best colours, everything had to be something that they wanted, needed, and would love. Christmas comes and the reaction I get is "... thanks, next." Last year I gave out gift cards and no one seemed to care. This year it's just straight cash. My friends I give movies... they love/hate me for them. At least it's fun with friends.

My friends I give movies... they love/hate me for them. At least it's fun with friends. That's why I highly recommend that everyone break Christmas kayfabe. My Dad: I want specifically this. Me: Well, I want specifically this. Done. Nothing worse than someone you've known your whole life sneak getting you something you more or less hate. It's less about being ungrateful, and more about "really? You got me a box set of the TV show I have went on record numerous time as disliking? Why?" Slippery win gifts is Christmas, but few truly have the capacity. I can hear you offhand remark you'd like something particular in Ferbruary, recognize you've not done that yet, then just get it for you. People are dummies though. They shop for their interpretation of you, not "you" you.

Looks like its going to be another warm Christmas Yep. Supposed to be 77 degrees here tomorrow, which completely sucks. Apparently Winter and Fall don't exist anymore. It has been cold around here for about 5 days total since October. Our Christmas is over for the year. Another disappointing year, but I guess there's always next year? I've found that I enjoy the lead up to Christmas Eve/Day much more than actual days themselves. The past few years have been awful for various reasons (Bad gifts/bad food/Spring-like weather/etc.)

How in the hell do people drink Egg Nog Good question, SO GROSS. I hate when I'm so bored that I go to bed for "something to do".
