Not sure if posted or if it's relevant to this thread. but i just found this interview of Toshiaki Kawada. he says here that he lost his passion after Misawa's passing and is running a ramen shop these days. Such a sad thing in my opinion, he deserved a grand finale to his career. Don't be. He got out alive and now has a successful business. that's true

Such a sad thing in my opinion, he deserved a grand finale to his career. It doesn't surprise me that he lost his passion after Misawa died. Whether they were partners or opponents, it was magic nearly every time Kawada and Misawa were in the ring together. There must have been a pretty strong bond between them. But, like it's already been said, at least he got out healthy, and is seemingly content with his lot in life after wrestling.

Also for the upcoming Queens Quest vs Oedo Tai match, whoever gets pinned last (I forget the rules, it is set up like a gauntlet, I believe) has to leave their respective unit.

Yuji Nagata will replace the injured Takao Omori as Jun Akiyama’s partner to challenge for the All Asia Tag Titles at the AJPW Yokohama show on Feb 3. Also interesting to note that Kai and Sanada who have been rivals and partners in the past will both get shots at their promotions world title within a week of each other.

Yuma Aoyagi has suffered a fractured right ankle which will require surgery, this puts the planned All Asia Tag match between him and Naoya Nomura against Yuji Nagata and Jun Akiyama on the 3rd in serious doubt as the belts will likely be vacated
