I'm tempted to say TNG because it's one of my all time favorite shows, but on the other hand... WORD UP!

Reading Rainbow helped an entire generation of kids or more.
LeVar is great in anything though.

Yep, Reading Rainbow inspired many trips to the library, in my youth.

Best not quantifiable. In terms of cultural and historic significance? Roots.

Best not quantifiable. In terms of cultural and historic significance? Roots. Averaged over 31.9 million households over the course of eight nights. Just astonishing.

Delivering this line...
"Matter-antimatter mixture ratio settings... at optimum balance. Reaction sequence... corresponding to specified norms. Magnetic plasma transfer to warp field generators per program specs. Commander, we should be going like a bat out of hell!"

None of the above because there's no way a cameo in something belongs in this poll and Captain Planet belongs in "other."
...even though I'd probably say Star Trek anyway.

Captain Planet is as important as his parts in the first three, as far as I'm concerned.

TNG for me, pretty much by default. Roots was shown to my class when I was 10, but I never made the connection until well into the '00s. Reading Rainbow, to the best of my knowledge, never travelled beyond North America.

Reading Rainbow was after my time.
And the first time I saw him on Star Trek, my first thought was "Why is Kunta Kinte wearing The Grand Wizard of Wrestling's glasses?"
