Aizen was the end all be all and at the time when the issues were coming out I could of sworn this was the end.
Bleach vs Aizen always should of been the end story. Even if the ending of Ichigo losing his Soul Reaper powers it would of been bittersweet but a good ending to finish on. Everything else after this felt like filler imo along with the incomplete ending to the series in general.
Your thoughts ?

Yes
He wanted it to end on that but Shonen Jump was determined to milk it for every drop regardless of whether it was a good idea or not, hence the regression it underwent afterwards and from what is believed made the ending as nonsensical as possible to spite them.

They should have never even went to Soul Society. They took it from being a great urban fantasy with a strong core cast into an extremely bloated mess that reads like a parody of the shonen genre like IMMEDIATELY upon entry into Soul Society. I was reading that shit when I was 14 and still thought it was dumb as f***, and I remember I'd check up a synopsis every so often after I stopped reading to see how it panned out and it only got dumber and dumber.

Ehh for me the Soul Society arc is what gave it its legs and kept my interest from their on.

Soul Society arc probably should have been the end of things, really. Because Kubo kind of ran out of ideas immediately after that. I mean the god damn Hueco Mundo arc is basically an extended redux of the Soul Society arc..........

I will give Kubo this, bad as a writer he may be, dude knows how to design characters. He designed countless badass and sexy characters(of all genders, and for once I actually mean that when talking about an anime/manga series, because he sprinkled in multiple characters that didn't strictly adhere to binary genders), so many that everyone had at least one favorite.
Pair the dude with a writer with actual talent, and god damn. Just give them all the money.

Designs got too simple after a while if that makes any sense but the diversity of not looking at the same character or trying to remember their names was easier thanks to his illustration.

I appreciated the fact that the Vandenreich Arc tied up a couple loose ends, but the fact that the series ultimately ended on a Deus Ex Machina completely sours any good will it had been rebuilding at that point.
So yes, Bleach should have ended after beating Aizen.
