I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

May be true, but I am learning from Scott Keith's WON recaps that the territories screwed themselves in many ways. Not WWE, but certain people who are fans/involved in the business complaining about that today are hypocrites. Because monopolizing is still happening today and in the same way, on a local level. I've seen a certain indy party I've been very vocal about bring up people's dirty laundry to run them out of business, and picking opportunities like Vince did to move in on other companies. Absolutely, the majority of the promoters weren't actually mad that Vince went national. It's that Vince beat them to it, because if he didn't they would have. That's what people tend to overlook. *Someone* was going to do it sooner than later, Vince just managed figured out how before everyone else

Ed Ferrara first appeared as Oklahoma on WWE programming with Vince's blessing. Bret Hart was a bad person because he might have gone to WCW with the WWF title, ignoring the fact he and WCW would both be sued into oblivion. Ric Flair takes the WCW world title and parades it around on WWF TV and he's the greatest of all time whose character is beyond reproach. I think they were more worried that he would do what Madusa did to the Women's Championship. How? He was under contract for a month after Montreal, the WWF title was heavily trademarked and couldn't be shown on WCW TV for the same reason the ECW title wasn't, so any benefit they gained from such an act would have been washed away by the lawsuits that followed. Turner legal would never have let it happen, not in a million years, no matter what Bischoff may have wanted, they would have tiptoed through the legal minefield in much the same way they did with Mike Awesome.

Called TNA's program tawdry in 2010 when his product was beyond tawdry since the late 90's, and it wasn't cleaned up until his wife had political aspirations in 2009. On another similar vein, fans who think like this yet beg for PG to end.
