True, but in terms of art imitating life you can't beat the awkward moment of villainy when Eric Roberts delivers the line "I don't believe in hitting a woman... fortunately this man has no such objections," and motions to good ol' "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Yeah thats funny. I had been let down by these movies. Im not really fond of them. I wanted call backs to classic cinema and not classics dressed in contemporary like we got. But the inside jokes and puns were Good. I just thought 3 was actually the best mainly for Gibson. And its of course the one everyone else thinks sucks.

Oh good it wasn't just me. I just kept repeating "I thought they just raced cars" for like 3 whole minutes. Okay if you're not into the car racing part of it you should start at Fast 5 and see what you think. That's when it started to just turn into just an over the top action franchise similar to the Expendables. Yeah, i saw Fast Five and Furious 6 first, and decided to see the first one in the series, and i actually found it kind of dull, especially with all the technical stuff about cars (Autobabble?). Back on topic, another guy i'd like to see in this film would be Clark Gregg, i think he could pull it off, and he needs something to do between seasons of SHIELD.

Fast 8's trailer flipped even hardcore fans of the franchise. The general opinion of that trailer is WTF?! Oh good it wasn't just me. I just kept repeating "I thought they just raced cars" for like 3 whole minutes. To be fair, the series was never really about racing cars. I mean it had it as part of the films, but it never was strictly about it, not like Need For Speed or Redline. The first film was more or less a Point Break ripoff with racing being in place of surfing. The second one was more like a buddy cop film with two guys trying to take down a drug lord for the feds. The third film had racing in the plot and it was more of a Karate Kid knock-off than anything. The fourth film had only one race in the film and it felt a little more like a cop drama-type of film mixed with action. The fifth was a heist film. The sixth was more like a spy film. The seventh was like a revenge film mixed with spy elements. You get the picture. Anyway, as for Expendables 4, I am up for it as long there is a better script and director than the third film.

1 and 2 were varying degrees of fun. 3 sucked ass. Hopefully they make it more like the first two. Yeah, the third one was pretty terrible. Gibson was decent enough as the villain but the rest of the movie was just not very good.

So will this one be rated R? Wouldnt mind seeing Clint Eastwood show up, dont know if he could do any action roles, but he needs to be in one of these films, even if it's a small role like playing the President. As long as there is a catch-phrase battle between Arnie and Clint

I'm still surprised they never developed direct-to-dvd side stories for the crew.
Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, and Terry Crews could probably use the extra work.

f*** it bring back Gibson and JCVD. Gibson was by far the only lone bright spot of Expendables 3.

2 had Van Damme killing a guy by kicking a knife into their chest. One of the greatest achievements in cinematic history.
