Apparently, some chap's name is Mark Rhodes and (if I got the right wikipedia page) he was on Pop Idol years ago.

The only question that seemed to stump the guy judging by his face was the hall of fame one but then the quiz host gave him the answer by giving the answers height and nickname as part of the question.

Reading up on it, no. Mastermind is a straight forward quiz, four contestants answer questions from the host. The first round, each contestant gets 90 seconds (I think) to answer questions on their chosen specialist subject. Second round is the same but with general knowledge, whoever answered the most correctly at the end of both rounds wins.

9 is the only one I could see being slightly challenging, and that's just because of how long ago it was and how rarely it's been mentioned since it happened.
