Ever since the brand split, Miz has become of the best parts of Smackdown by far. He's made the Intercontinental Championship more important than it's been in years, his wrestling has improved, and he's easily the best promo in the company. I thought he was pretty good back when had his first reign 5-6 years ago, but he's become a juggernaut since. I think Miz deserves to be WWE champ sometime next year.

Absolutely. Hoping Cena's inevitable next reign is ended by either him or Corbin, preferably Miz.

Definitely, he's a heel that gets everyone to hate him and he actually feels like a main eventer now.

Thought he was great as champion first time round and done a disservice by the focus on Rock, would love to see him get it now.

I like Miz a lot but no. Not everyone should be world champion he's perfectly fine being the top midcard heel. This obsession with giving everyone a run with the belt is 1 of the reasons it doesn't mean anything anymore.

I'm a big fan of The Miz but no I don't think he should get a run with a World Title. He is fine where he is. Give him a few months run with the IC title, there's a few guys he can feud with while champion.

He was a former champion already.

Having Miz a world champ is like having Mr Perfect as world champ. They are great in their spots, but it is like putting a square shape into a round hole.

No. Miz is great as the over the top cocky loudmouth role, which is a perfect fit for the Midcard gatekeeper.
But when he tries to do anything outside of that role he is laughably bad.
Leave him where he excels.

Win the title? No. Contend for the title in a few PPV main event matches? Yes.

Depends how long he has it.
If it's for 1-2 months? Sure. Anything longer? f***. No.

A main event run? Sure. An actual title reign? Nah.

It's hard to make an argument against it when one considers that from an overall standpoint only Styles has had a better year than him. He's knocked everything out of the park while more lauded guys like Owens, Reigns, and Rollins have floundered. Even in this very board's end of year awards he seems to be a nailed-on favourite for promo of the year and a strong contender for most improved wrestler.
It can't even be said he doesn't look the part either, when you've got guys like Ambrose as legit main eventers. That's not a knock against Ambrose either, the landscape has changed since 2010, and Miz is a better fit for the main event scene in 2017 than he ever was first time around.

Right now? No. But it could work after one more storyline that provides him with a solid push. Let's say this feud with Daniel Bryan ends with Miz winning. It could result in him being the biggest heel in the company and a WWE Championship reign could actually be a logical move.

Yes
If it wasn't for AJ killing it he'd be the best in the WWE at the moment.
