My major Christmas present this year was crossing the border to see my wife, but since that went tits up (see my thread on that), I still got a few things. First, my wife was awesome enough to get me this old Undertaker handheld game off eBay:
Second, my aunt and uncle from up in Toronto got me a board game called WWE Trivia Mania:
To top it off, I got a Canadian Tire gift card, additional money, and some candy from my mom. My family doesn't have super, huge Christmas extravaganzas these days, so for the gifts I did get, it turned out pretty awesome.

I got Montreal Impact toque and jersey from the in-law gift swap gimmick. Happy, that's what I wanted. I gave my brother-in-law's wife a book on Germany and a workout DVD, which is what she wanted.
My mom gave me 50$ cash. I gave her a 50$ gift card at Wal-Mart and a new fridge to be delivered next week, and gave my dad a 50$ gift card at Canadian Tire, a set of fancy wrenches (500$!) and a joke gift: a dollar-store screwdriver. I think the shit is cardboard plated in aluminium.
Tomorrow is when the wife and I swap Christmas stockings, we got two of them each and I know she bought me some extra stuff.
I don't know what's coming my way but I got some ideas: She definitively bought me a cologne (whose name I forget) because she loves the stuff. It costs like a 100$ for a shitty little bottle too. She told me she had a "Wrestling Collectible" in there, but she's a non-fan/hater, so I don't know what's coming my way. Outside chance of an NES Classic, she kept acting like she didn't want me to buy one because I'm handy with emulation but...
I bought her a ton of stuff: Tickets to her favourite comedian's farewell show (they cost a pretty penny), mittens & toque, a bunch of perfumes, creams and oils, a workout DVD with assorted shirt (autographed by the featured trainer), a sociology book she wanted (she teaches socio...), another book on how to deal with emotional situations on the work place (joke item... or is it? We work together, by the way.) and also sweets, a Minion doll... and I'm probably forgeting.
Tomorrow I also have dinner at my brother's: My brother, my sister-in-law and their two kids will each get 20$ at Wal-Mart, I will get 25$ Walton Bucks from them, as is tradition.
And MONDAY at a great all-you-can-eat sushi place in Boucherville, myself and 14 of my fellow retired grapplers will meet to explode our stomachs and swap gifts. The guy I picked wanted some workout gear. I bought him a dildo. No, really, I bought him a big silver dildo, he can turn it on and rub it on his flab to work it out. I wrapped it in Frozen paper wrappings. And I'm sure that won't be the most embarassing gift that will be handed out.

Books DC: 75 Years Superman: Lois and Clark (2015) TPB Doctor Who Annual 2017 The Beano Annual 2017 Titan Shattered
DVDs Legends of Tomorrow S1 Supergirl S1 The Flash S2 Suicide Squad Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders Star Trek Beyond WWE Money in the Bank 2016 Captain America: Civil War Doctor Who: The Power of The Daleks
It's good that I decided against getting my brother the "Return of the Caped Crusaders" feature, seeing as he ended up getting it for me. I got him a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air complete set instead.
There is a nes classic under my tree. T-minus 12 hours to Mario 3. Good times.
I'm currently seething with jealousy...I hate you both!
If it is any consolation, these old games are hard as hell and my mum has spent the last hour laughing at me and telling me about how I used to ask her to throw games out the window when I had a nes when I was younger and had game rage.
A new Spurs hat Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: Civil War on DVD. A gift card for Alamo Drafthouse
...and the crown jewel...TWO TICKETS TO THE ROYAL RUMBLE!!! I am beyond hyped!
For the past 3 years I have asked for rumble tickets or wrestlekingdom tickets knowing fine well that there is no way I'm getting them due to the time of year and travel costs, one day my rumble tickets will come, but yours have arrived, treat them well, they aren't just for xmas.
