... is that someone entering in at a number other than 1, 2, 3, or 5 is the first eliminated. Just once. Ever since I had that pointed out to me I've been hoping someone else, be it, 4, 6, 30, or whatever, would be the first gone.

Interesting. I never noticed that.

You never see the ring fill up that early on, do you? That'd be interesting, to say the least.

I honestly want to see one Rumble where the #30 entrant is the first one eliminated, just to see how people would react.

I demand to know why this hasn't made the "wwe royal rumble facts" list yet!

You never see the ring fill up that early on, do you? That'd be interesting, to say the least. There's no eliminations for the first 15 minutes of the 1996 Rumble. And you know who the first number to go out is? Number 3! I like the 96 rumble. Despite a few camera cue misses* it's quite enjoyable. As Orwell put it, all Rumbles are great, some are just greater than others. * {Spoiler}The moment where Owen is about eliminate Shawn only for Diesel to step in, save Shawn and toss Owen in the one move is AMAZING. And should be one of the great Rumble moments, only the camera completely misses it, leaving Mr Perfect to tell Vince on commentary the number one heel in the match just got eliminated, and for the move to be shown on replay. Moment lost.
It also plays into both the concept that Owen has Shawn's number (played up in the following months PPV, plus the injury angle), and the Diesel heel turn. Lost because they went to replay Barry Horowitz's elimination of all things! Spoiler tags on a nearly 21 year old event, because folk on here might come to it for the first time ever thanks to the Network.

In 1995, Owen's off-camera elimination coincides with the entrance of Timothy Well (of the infamous jobber team Well Dunn), giving the impression that Well's appearance got a massive pop.

My biggest hope is that it doesn't turn out to be Royal Rumble 2015.

Haha yes, when I first saw that as a kid, I thought "Who is this guy? The crowd LOVE him!"

After three disgraceful Rumble matches in a row, my only hope is for a winner people actually want. If that has to be someone I personally don't want, I can live with that.

It may be inconsequential if the first one out is a jobber.

My hope is that Joe comes out in the middle and just wrecks shit. He doesn't need to win, just "make an impact/send a message/(insert latest bullshit buzzword)" to the roster.

People are more excited about the Rumble match than any other match all year, and we got three stinkers. The main reason people cheered last year is because it wasn't Roman.

I just want Tye Dillinger as #10. "Why is the clock counting up?" *Dillinger's music starts with the woman saying "TEN!" As the clock makes it to 10*

I just want Tye Dillinger as #10. Related, I kind of want to see the crowd chant, "10!" for every single number being counted down, all 280 of them.

My biggest hope is that it doesn't turn out to be Royal Rumble 2015. Well Roman's not in the Rumble this year so you don't have to worry about that.

If we can get through the night without the entire crowd shitting on everything and booing the face winner, that's a start.

These last 3 royal rumbles are the only ones I've ever seen in their entirety and while each of them had moments I enjoy, their booking has been mind bogglingly terrible, particularly the ending. As such I would like to see a great rumble with a proper winner. No part-timers, no lol Roman wins. Also, no having two vets just throw out every fan favourite one after the other to kill all enthusiasm.
