I've been a fan of Corbin since his match wit Joe. Since then I was like "This boy has some raw talent, just needs to be refined"
Now we're here and he has some of the best promo cutting on Smackdown with his "I couldn't give a shit" douche attitude, and tonight's match I don't care what anyone thinks made him a STAR in the making. A matter of when and not if, Corbin is the shit, and I ride that Corbin Train into the sunset.
Fantastic showing really solidifying Corbin as Smackdowns monster, solid booking as per Litdown Usual, hope the Lone Wolf won some peeps over tonight

Baron Corbin must be the only guy on the roster I do not get the appeal of whatsoever.

He somehow managed to **** up breaking up a pinfall, which I didn't think was possible.
I really, sincerely do not get the hype. Is it residual good will from his "anti-indy" gimmick in NXT?

Corbin has a ton of potential, but he needs a feud with unlikable shitheads like TJP to build his aura up.

Still don't get it. Anti-social douche is likely the easiest character to play. And even then, he doesn't play it well.
He's kinda dull in the ring.
Cool finisher, though.

I've been on it since I saw him as an NXT jobber. Dude is awesome.

I won't touch on whether you like him or not but if you think him being late on pinfall break up was something not possible you haven't been watching WWE or really any wrestling lately. That is a once or twice a multi-man match occurrence.

That is a once or twice a multi-man match occurrence. To that degree though? There's always a couple of close calls in those match types, sure, but that's different than a situation like tonight, where the guy breaking up a pin was late to such a degree that an otherwise protected finisher had to be kicked out of. Maybe it's happened recently and I've overlooked it.

EDIT: Fatal Four Way after NXT Brooklyn 1. Ref didn't stop but someone missed their cue. They've had tag matches where the guy never came in so they to weakly kick out, I seem to remember that from Survivor Series but I could be confusing that with Shane. Then of course there was the main event of Mania VIII. On top of that, wasn't it a super kick from Ziggler? That is only slightly more protected than one from the Young Bucks. Hell, the only legit protected finisher I can remember in that match was Corbin's End of Days. The Styles Clash and Forearm certainly aren't, same for the Zig Zag and Ziggler's kick.

He's got his character down but dude needs serious polishing in the ring. He was fine tonight but he's got some very clear holes in his game before he gets any kind of prominent push at the top.

I can see Corbin in a role similar to Kane: monster heel that can ME without any real shock but more of an upper podcaster.
And I say this as a fan of Corbin. I really hope he continues to improve.

Fair enough, I'd forgotten about the Brooklyn thing despite actually being there live for it so yeah, I'll concede that point.
