From wrestlinginc.com
" The 2017 WWE Money In the Bank pay-per-view will be a SmackDown-exclusive event. As noted, the event has been announced for June 18th from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis."
Nice!, I think SD would have better use of the concept than Raw so this is good news!

However, I would have liked to see MITB removed from PPV and make it a cross-brand match at WrestleMania. 3 Raw guys, 3 SDL guys and an NXT guy. Have a little tournament on the shows to determine who's in. Oh well though...

If that's the case, I'm predicting that whoever wins the MITB match will cash in on a Raw superstar, because surprises.

So either Styles, Joe, Harper (please God make it happen) or Ambrose given he might be a heel by then becoming the new Edge.

Then replace the other PPV right before Summerslam with KOTR to determine the other brand's contender. If Summerslam is supposed to be the summer's Wrestlemania, then have MITB and KOTR combine to act as summer's Royal Rumble.

Huh, I thought this was gonna be a cross-brand PPV, with 2 MITB matches like they used to do.

I wish they would do away with MITB altogether. It's been done to death, and between MITB and two world titles literally anyone can be a champion and it just makes everything feel so unimportant.

In that case, I'm gonna predict Corbin.

Alvarez said yesterday that he heard the brand that didn't get MitB might have a MitB match at WM.
He also said it could still very well be a dual-brand show.

The MitB currently serves the same purpose that the IC Title did in the '80s and early '90s. Back then, the IC Title holder was a future champion in waiting. He was essentially the #2 guy in the company. Now, the guy who holds MiTB kinda occupies that spot. He might not be the #2 guy per se, but we're meant to consider him a big deal. I do think we're oversaturated when it comes to titles, but I don't mind the MitB. What I would like is a different format, though. The surprise cash-in is played out. I'd be fine with MitB guaranteeing a title shot at a fixed date. Maybe have the winner get a main event spot at SummerSlam.

MITB needs a break for a few years.

Have a little tournament on the shows to determine who's in. Oh well though... I always preferred MITB as a 'Mania match, but with the increased number of titles across the two brands (of which not all will make the main show) I'd prefer to see one more title match on the card.

They should just drop the brand-exclusive PPVs honestly. They've really been nothing but headaches since they started them back up with how completely dull and repetitive Raw's side is and how thin SmackDown's is, they haven't really done anything to help the Network, and most of their ticket sales have been not good.
I mean, I'd rather just watch SmackDown only shows, but from a business perspective there really isn't any reason to keep doing them.

At the very least, do alternating PPVs every month like during the first brand split. There is no need for two Raw or SD PPVs in the same month.

Would rather it be a cross-brand match at WM instead.
SD's roster is already thin so if they have to put 6 guys in one match with high risk of injury, not only will the rest of the card suffer but so will the rest of the brand.

It'd be cool if years from now, you had an open brand MITB match with the participants being something like:
2 Raw 2 SD 1 NXT 1 Cruiser/205 Live 1 WWE UK
