This whole two PPVs a month thing just isn't working.
Every single one is just a repeat of the same PPV the month before with barely any changes. If it's RAW, you get some combo of Roman/Owens/Rollins/Jericho, Sasha vs Charlotte, Cesaro and Sheamus together and Perkins vs Kendrick. If it's SD, you get AJ/Ambrose, Miz/Ziggler, Bray and Randy in the same segment, and Nikki vs Carmella.
If they did the old one PPV a month style, we could give both brands 2 months time to create new match cards. However, if we instead make each PPV dual-branded instead, we could just alternate which matches take place on each PPV.
So under alternating PPVs we could have RAW one month, SD the next and then RAW the month after, etc.
With dual-brand, they can have RAW matches A, B, C and D with SD matches A, B and C then the month after give us RAW matches A, C, E and F with SD matches A, C and D.

Monthly ppvs alternating brands and then let the other brand do one of those beast in the east or roadblock (Feb) style televised house show

I'd alternate months with the exception of the big four.
I'd also have one world champion who would defend the championship every PPV regardless of brand.
It would give purpose and incentive to the brand rivalry which is currently dead.

Pretty much how it happened from 04-06, with only one PPV per month and each month alternates besides the Big 4.

My preferred format is four Raw PPVs, four Smackdown PPVs with the Big Four being dual-brand with the MITB match moving back to Wrestlemania. Shows like this week's Smackdown can fill the gap when a brand has an extended amount of time between PPVs.

- Apr - WrestleMania - Joint
- May - Backlash - RAW
- Jun - King Of The Ring* - Joint - Winner is #1 contender for his brands title at Summerslam
- Jul - Judgement Day - SDL
- Aug - Summerslam - Joint
- Sep - Fall Brawl - RAW
- Oct - Halloween Havoc - SDL - Arena is decked in a Horror theme, Non wrestlers are in Halloween costumes (some wrestlers can use cosplay attires if they wish)
- Nov - Survivor Series - Joint - All team matches
- Dec - Best of year - Top 10 matches of the year - A good way for people who don't watch both brands or a lot of WWE shows to see the best matches of the year, include exclusive interviews with the participants before each match
5 joint PPV
3 RAW
3 SD
1 Misc
* Just a title, No king gimmick

My preferred scheduled would be:
January - Royal Rumble (joint PPV)
February - No Way Out (SD)
March - WrestleMania (joint PPV)
April - Backlash (RAW)
May - Judgment Day (SD)
June - Great American Bash (RAW)
July - Battleground (SD)
August - SummerSlam (joint PPV)
September - Unforgiven (RAW)
October - No Mercy (SD)
November - Survivor Series (joint PPV)
December - Armageddon (RAW)
There will be no gimmick PPVs anymore cause both brands should have equal access to TLC, HiaC, Extreme Rules and Elimination Chamber matches.

Raw has been rematches month after month, but I actually think Smackdown's been doing fine. At the same time, I suppose it would make the PPVs more important, but realistically, just imagine the build for Rollins/Reigns vs. JeriKO except less actual minutely meaningful PPV matches.

I guess I don't care as long as they're able to make matches I want to see. For years now, even with just 12 PPVs a year, most PPVs are endless rematches for fueds that either aren't interesting or had a decisive winner in the first match. There is no need for that.
I wish they would just show a little bit of creativity. They've done it before. Nearly every main event in 1998 is some combination of Austin, Foley, Undertaker, and Kane, yet there are basically no rematches. The only one is Dude Love and Austin in back to back months, but the first one ended in controversy and the second match had Vince as the special ref and a whole bunch of other things going on that made it feel new. Why can't they do that now? It's not just that the writing is stale, it's downright lazy. I used to put more thought in booking feuds for my action figures when I was 9 than their 86 writers can come up with for a living.

I miss the days of PPVs being once a month and feuds maybe lasting 2 of them at most. Everything with wrestling feels repetitive nowadays.
