See, I love the angle that this title change has taken. The refs this week wised up to the Miz's tactics and they didn't count, but Miz can't deal with the fact that by the book, she should have lost via DQ and kept the title, but Daniel Bryan allowing the BS red tape to be cut and referees adhering to basic common sense is what has foiled everything. It's just so logical that the heel is so clearly wrong, but you can understand how Miz got so deluded to actually think that Maryse slapping Ambrose and not getting a DQ BS finish is somehow a miscarriage of justice. You can easily see how he has a point about the the DQ being ignored, but the fact that he's built up so much negative karma from his previous cheap wins meant that he was due to have it blow up in his face at some point.

That's been the great aspect of the Miz/Bryan story. Daniel's never really been outright unfair to him, but there's just enough little wiggle room bits for Miz to try and cry foul about.

Looks like Miz v Ambrose at Rumble .. but I could see Miz win or lose that match weaselling into the Rumble itself. Maybe have in the final 4 and do something to escalate the whole stinken system is against him thing.

Could...Could Miz win the Rumble? Yeah, unlikely and I know we all suffer from the 27 flashbacks but him vs. Cena would be money, IMO. Cena as the company guy going Hollywood and champ vs. Miz, WWE's resident movie star all pissed at WWE for not getting the respect Cena does? I'd be on board with it. Other than their PPV matches, which've all had some variety of garbage overly cluttering them, Miz and Cena have killer chemistry in the ring and they haven't faced each other in a loooong time.

Yeah. Miz is becoming WWE Champion in 2017. You already see where this is heading. ................Unless he gets drafted to Raw.

What I love is that Miz's outbursts are serious and uncomfortable for the babyfaces, but there's just enough of a heel tantrum element to it for a fan to still hate him for being a sore loser.

................Unless he gets drafted to Raw. Bryan should use "getting drafted to Raw" as a threat the next time Miz freaks out at him.

Bryan should use "getting drafted to Raw" as a threat the next time Miz freaks out at him. Getting sent to Raw should be the SmackDown equivalent of being wished to the cornfield.

Here are the facts for SmackDown (And since it’s a new year, any match that happened in 2016 doesn’t count here, so any match that was a re-match from last year counts as a new match) - Dolph Ziggler VS Baron Corbin was both wrestlers’ 1st opener of 2017 - Becky Lynch VS La Luchadora was a 1st time match & the 1st match to not feature a contracted wrestler in 2017, even though Alexa Bliss was the one that Lynch beat at the end - Aliyah VS Carmella was the 1st time that there was 2 Women’s Matches on Smackdown in 2017 - American Alpha VS Breezango was the 1st Tag Team Match on Smackdown in 2017 - Dean Ambrose VS The Miz was the 1st Intercontinental Championship Match of 2017 & both wrestlers’ 1st Main Event of the year
Here are the facts for 205 Live: - Tajiri VS Sean Maluta was both wrestler’s 205 Live debut & 1st opener of 2017 - Jack Gallagher VS Tony Nese was both wrestlers’ 1st 205 Live of 2017, the 2nd Disqualification of 2017 & the 1st for 205 Live - Mustafa Ali VS Noam Dar was both wrestler’s 1st 205 Live of 2017 - TJ Perkins VS Neville was both wrestlers’ 1st 205 Live main event of 2017 & the 1st time since it premiered that Rich Swann did not compete in the main event of 205 Live

So.... How'd they book La Luchadora in a match if no one knows who she is?

I didn't mind what happened between Ambrose and Miz but they really should have kept that match for the Rumble. They blew their load too quickly like American Alpha getting the titles(which should have happened at Mania in their case).
They either should have kept that match for the Rumble or have Miz win via the spot they almost did with Miz smashing his title in Dean's match. Then Dean is even more heated for the rematch.

Pretty sure the point was just to get the feud more heated and turn Miz over to being out for blood. Since it'd be the second time in four weeks that Miz retained against Ambrose it'd basically feel like the Dolph feud if he just failed due to Miz finding some other way to squeak past him when Miz has been in a holding pattern for awhile anyway, and Miz has already dominated the feud, so this is likely just leading to Miz being more directly violent trying to get it back. That said it should have been less dominant. It did make Miz look like a chump having Ambrose both kick out of his finisher and a shot with the belt.

Miz is the heel that has had the title for a long time, Ambrose is the denied face that has been punked by Miz who even has his girlfiend attacked. You keep the Ambrose for a special time, not on free TV.
