I'm assuming Ron Simmons will be inducting Teddy Long. Although Undertaker would be interesting. Is there potential for Cornette to induct the RNREX? Bradshaw will weasel his way into Teddys induction I believe

i would think Vader should be inducted way before DDP but what do I know While I don't disagree that Vader deserves a spot in the Hall, you have to look beyond just his accomplishments in the ring to see just how much DDP has contributed to the WWE and its wrestlers to see why he deserves it. First off, going strictly with his pro wrestling career, he was the face of the brand for several years as the primary opponent against the nWo when Sting went all MIA for a while there, and up until Goldberg took the company by storm was one of their biggest faces (one could argue he was The Rock for WCW similar to how Goldberg was Austin). But let's go beyond that and see what he's done for the WWE well after his retirement. With the number of guys he has literally saved/extended their lives thanks to his efforts with his yoga, he is practically a saint to many of these guys. It's not just the well-documented history with Hall and Roberts either; guys like Sting, HBK, Jericho, Foley, Goldust, AJ Styles (I could seriously keep naming names), and a multitude of others outside of the normal wrestling world owe him not simply because he gave them access to the yoga program he cobbled together, but also holding them accountable and motivating them to keep going when they didn't want to. If you want a better reason: Vader could very well be turning his health around and saving his life thanks to DDP Yoga. Page got ahold of him once that terminal announcement was made, and as recent as last month Vader reversed his diabetic levels, lost 20 pounds, and is working with him in DDP's "Accountability Crib". Again, not saying Vader doesn't deserve it (I want him in too), but no need to tear down someone who practically deserves sainthood for what he's been doing.

There's five Mondays till the HOF, but still six rumored people/teams left. I wonder if someone gets pushed back a year. There's no woman or posthumus yet, so those inductions are probably still on, I would guess the other 3 solo guys get in as well, because I don't think WWE has ever inducted two tag teams in the same year, so that's my guess. They should release the posters and promo stuff soon so I'll guess we'll find out.

Don't forget about this year's still unannounced Celebrity Wing inductee and this year's still unannounced Warrior Award recipient. Out of {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Mike Rotunda, William Regal and Christian, I see just Mike Rotunda getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. I'm predicting that {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}"Ravishing" Rick Rude and Beth Phoenix will definitely both be getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. The Rock 'n' Roll Express will surely be the only tag team that gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame: Class of 2017. Even if {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}The Natural Disasters, William Regal and Christian all don't get inducted this year, that would still get this year's WWE Hall of Fame class up to ten inductees counting both Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson of The Rock 'n' Roll Express even before this year's Legacy Wing inductees might get revealed. I would be very surprised if WWE doesn't induct additional wrestling pioneers into the Legacy Wing of their Hall of Fame this year. Last year, WWE created the Legacy Wing of their Hall of Fame and inducted seven posthumous wrestling pioneers into the Legacy Wing. The seven wrestling pioneers inducted by WWE last year into the Legacy Wing were "Sailor" Art Thomas, Ed "Strangler" Lewis, Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Lou Thesz, Mildred Burke and Pat O'Connor. So, there will be three or four former WWE superstars that were included on this year's WWE Hall of Fame spoiler list that won't even be getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. WWE Hall of Fame spoiler lists haven't ever been 100% accurate.

I would be totally surprised if WWE doesn't induct additional posthumous wrestling pioneers into the Legacy Wing of their Hall of Fame this year. {Spoiler}I'd think Christian would be the odd man out. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me right now, DDP kinda has the slot he'd fill and with Beth most likely going in you got Edge busy. Rotunda gets the feel good story of being inducted by his WWE Champ son and Regal fills the international role, especially with them going hard for the UK now.

They have skipped the celeb induction in years past, so it's still possible.

Not sure that confirms anything. Meltzer reported that a bunch of former female talent have been contacted for Mania (Kelly Kelly, Victoria, Brooke Adams, Katie Lea Burchill, etc). They have skipped the celeb induction in years past, so it's still possible. They've had a celebrity inductee from 2010-2016. I don't think they ever skipped a year, it just hadn't become an annual tradition yet. I doubt they stop anytime soon.

Eh . . . it's shaping up to be a middle-of-the-pack class. I do hope Rude gets in, though. That's long overdue.

They have more plans for Kelly than just speaking at the HOF.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Kelly giggles off answering if she's there to induct someone, but confirms WWE wants her there for the induction, and Maria says she's been helping to pick out outfits! Still not seeing how that confirms Beth is going in. Do you really think they would have Kelly Kelly induct her? I typed out a little transcript because, without outright saying her name, I can't see how anyone would think they're talking about anyone but Beth {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Maria: "Are you inducting someone into the Hall of Fame?" Kelly: "I don't...know (laughs)" Maria: "Ohhh I think I've figured it out and I know and I'm so excited because I love this person! I've secretly been helping this person prepare in a way.." Kelly: "Stop! What? How?" Maria: "Because I want everyone to look their best, and so I sometimes, you know, moonlight as a stylist" Kelly: "Oh good, so you're helping pick out outfits?" Maria: "I gave my guidance, I gave some contacts, and so we'll see" Kelly: "Oh I'm excited!" Maria: "Ok so you are inducting someone into the Hall of Fame!" Kelly: "I don't know, I don't know if I'm doing that! But I know they wanted me there for that so..." Maria: "Ok, so you are, at the very least, there for a very big moment for someone?" Kelly: "Yep"
Beth has been the rumoured female inductee for several weeks, and Maria worked primarily with Beth during her matches in WWE (and had her Wrestlemania match with her and Kelly) so it makes sense that she would love her. Kelly worked a lot with Beth, and her best matches were with Beth during her title reign. I don't think Kelly by herself would induct Beth, but I think they could easily have a few women from the past (Candice, Kelly, Mickie, McCool, Eve are all on good terms...maybe Melina if they'd have her).
They have more plans for Kelly than just speaking at the HOF. I think the way Kelly answers that as well makes it pretty clear that it's at least been a conversation.
