Vanessa is checking out some guy, Wade catches her but then turns his gaze upon the same guy. Then they look at each other and come to an unspoken agreement. That would be great. They are both messed up but very kinky people who are each other's soulmates. I hope Deadpool 2 really pushes the envelope of there sexual relationship. Up the ante from the pegging scene. There's really not enough sodomy in cinema today.

I don't want Deadpool to have any positive relationship. The one thing I really disliked about the first film was that Deadpool got the girl in the end. That's the one thing they got absolutely wrong about the character. Wade NEVER gets the girl. The most Deadpool thing that movie could have done would have been to have him go to all that trouble to save Vanessa, only for her to kick him in the balls and walk off. Every time he's in a relationship in the books, it goes to shit. Granted, this one still can, but I dunno. It just felt anti-Deadpool.

Totally in support, but if they actually want to stay true to the character, it kinda would need to be a played for laughs kind of thing.
They dont really need any romance in the next film, I say they jettison Vanessa, so they could easily just show him in bed with a guy, make a joke about it and move on.
It'd be explicit he was happy to sleep with guys and was bi or pan or whatever, but we wouldn't be dwelling on it anymore than they should be dwelling on him being with any other character for this next film. The focus should be Deadpool and Cable.

I sometimes hear the "deadpool is pan" in the comics. But never actually saw,his relationships were always show to be with girls. Every single one,and there was many. some of his interactions with Cable definitely gave off that he thought he was hot. Granted that could also have just been because DP is insane and loves f***ing with people, and that's a relatively obvious route to take with the ultra-stern Cable.

So you're saying the next film will have Vanessa making more money than Wade, who gets really insecure about it, just wants to sit down and watch TV, and ultimately gets out of problems due to other superheroes showing up and doing all of the work?

It was the most obvious example that came to mind. Though I read that last one as DP screwing with the guy.

Kinda ugh in that why? Like, who is flipping Van Wilder to try and landscape someone else's character to fanservice Today's World? But also, if you were to do it, DP would be a great vehicle to get that over with the correct balance of comedy and reality to make it palatable. Could easily be done IF it's not hamfisted. If it were, then what was the point? Yay, my agenda. Why does this movie bog out in the middle?

I think this would be an awesome creative decision. Representation is important.

Hell no. That would pretty much invalidate the entire first film.

As I said ,doesn't last. Not sure what you mean the newspaper strip tho. I will give you f4, but there is the catch they debuted as a couple. Are ant man and wasp still together?

Is not unusual for people that are safe of their sexuality to mess around saying that stuff. But the first one with thor does seem much less screwing around than the last one But until he actually gets in a relation or romantic/ sexual act it really isn't proven or fact

Not sure what you mean the newspaper strip tho. The Amazing Spider-Man newspaper strip has been going on since the 1970s (it turned 40 yesterday), and it was that strip that served as the catalyst for Peter and MJ getting married in the mainline books as Stan had decided to marry them and Jim Shooter thought it'd be great to have both events be simultaneous (hence why you get the criticisms that the Spider-Marriage in 616 was rushed) . After OMD in 2007, the strip continued on with the marriage, briefly undoing it in 2009 but then revealing that they were just joking, literally pulled a Bobby Ewing, and Peter and MJ have remained married there ever since.
