So, I don't get to watch much (if any) Puro, West Coast Indies (hi there, PWG), or RoH.
I'm wondering if there's anybody else in the same position, but became intrigued by somebody they hardly ever get to see anyway.
My first thought about this was Satoshi Kojima, who I became a fan of through his video game movesets, but eventually got to see a great match between him and Kensuke Sasaki where they spent half the match attempting to lariat each other's head off in front of blind-ass Stan Hansen.
Tetsuya Naito is another. I know next to nothing about him, but I love his theme song, and the idea that he turned into a bitter piece of shit because the CMLL fans treated him like mierda.

In light of what happened at New Year Dash, Minoru Suzuki.

I think I first started to love Omega through social media just from his interactions with Woods and others and finally got around to watching his stuff at Wrestle Kingdom 10. From then on I've just absorbed his body of work throughout the years.

I've never seen an Ox Baker match, but I love his mustache and Price Is Right appearance. Does that count?
I dunno. Typically when I come around to liking a wrestler, I spend a few hours watching their stuff on YouTube or the Network right after.

Solo Darling

The Crusher I'm not sure I've ever seen a Crusher match. Just a whole bunch of his promos and he sounds like an extreme version of one of my Grandfathers, and several Great Uncles, Uncles and numerous men I've known in my life as a kid growing up as a 3rd generation German American in Wisconsin.

I've only seen a small handful of Sgt. Slaughter matches, but I'm a mark for him because of G.I.Joe.

Brian Pillman.
I think the only match of his I've seen is the Canadian Stampede PPV match but I love the guy. I've seen so many of his promos and am totally fascinated by the guy but never seen him wrestle really.
I haven't seen that many Jake the Snake matches really either but he's one of my favourite wrestlers ever because of his promo skills.
Lastly Becky Lynch. I had just seen her two matches with Daizee Haze and her two matches with Allison Danger and she became one of my favourite ever wrestlers. Her match with Haze at Shimmer Volume 4 might be the greatest woman's match to ever take place in North America.

Yeah, once I discover someone cool I really want to seek out the rest of their work:

I liked Trent back in his WWE days, but now after WK11 and a little YouTube deep dive, I've really started to enjoy Rocky Romero and RPG Vice

Just thought of this one and a name finally came up: Togi Makabe.
Yeah, I wasn't crazy about him vs. Ishii at WK9. (Still think something was "off" about that match. "They had better" is what I was trying to say.)
Now, he was in Tiger Mask W about a month ago. Okada, Tanahashi...I get why they are there. They're handsome guys, good faces for the company.
But the Unchained Gorilla? That made me laugh. And I like him more because of it.

Kenny Omega. He's got a great look and obviously bags of charisma. The only match I've seen out of him is against the 9 year old girl.

Hideki Suzuki. I've only ever got the chance to see him in BJW since I don't regularly follow Zero1 or W1 and I've loved what I've seen.

Hiroshi Tanahashi, hopefully thatll change now that I have New Japan World. In all honesty, I think I've seen less then ten matches of his.

Jesse Ventura. Never saw him wrestle, but I love him for his commentary work (and for the stuff he's done since he left wrestling).
Damien Demento. He was the first wrestler I can remember seeing, and although I have watched his WWF matches on YouTube, he was only in the WWF for a year or so, so there isn't much of his in-ring action to see. Still, his online shoot videos are the reason why I love the guy (and why others should, too).
Hakushi. Like Demento, he was only in the WWF for about a year or so.
Dennis Stamp. I have only seen a few of his AWA matches on YouTube, but he could go in the ring, and now he has the whole 'Dennis Stamp' vibe making his matches a lot more entertaining.
The only Scott Summers match I've seen was his CZW TOD match against Masada, but that was a really great match.
