That was Triple H, not Cena. Commentators said they both agreed the match must happen now. Like Cena could of been like dude rest up and enjoy with it with your family I'll see you next week Cena wasn't the one with final say on when the championship match took place. Triple H was. It wasn't John's call to make. And regardless, Rey was fine with the stipulation.

Was that the same promo where Cena told Del Rio he'd have to defend the title sooner or later... literally right after Del Rio beat Rey Mysterio to retain? I think so. I still find it sad how he made Rey Mysterio defend the title the same night he won it. Like he couldn't give him a week to rest and enjoy it. That's the worst part of it. Cena sat out the tournament that Rey won to get the vacant belt, then takes a shot at Rey the same night he wins that tournament. Del Rio, at least, had won a Money in the Bank match to earn the right to ambush the champ.

That was Triple H, not Cena. Most of these are remembered wrong, not sure whether on purpose or not. The OP thing was a throwaway line in a promo by AJ being a dick, not some actual stipulation. HHH made that Rey/Cena match, like you said, because it was his first show as COO and he wanted a “huge” first time ever main event. Rey had no problem with it. People pull double duty on Raw all the time. Rey wrestled a 9 minute match with The Miz at the start of the show. That’s nothing out of the ordinary. Cena himself has defended titles in handicap matches, wrestled in multiple matches per night and so on without complaining, just like Rey didn’t. And Cena didn’t randomly run out and attack Del Rio because of MITB. Del Rio had just beaten Rey and then “broke” his arm when Del Rio’s trademark aggressiveness™ continued after the match. Cena was running out to make the save and got pissed when Del Rio escaped. I still remember the Owens feud where Cena bothered me the most. "You beat me and it was a fluke and until we fight again you're lame." Then "I beat you. Way to go Kev you belong here." That’s not how this happened either. The night after Owens won their first match Cena came out and said he was the better man and offered to shake his hand but Owens refused and started trash talking Cena and his fans. Then after Cena won the next match he again offered to shake Owens hand, which Owens did this time before cheap shotting him and giving him the apron powerbomb. Owens was very clearly the dick and the sore loser/winner in this. I know Owens is a jerk and I'm sure I forgot details but I remember being mad about the "you're not a man if you don't give me a rematch" stuff because it was dumb. He lost clean. Owens had no reason to do it. Cena was the face obviously just that logic point always bugs me from him.

I think he said he beat him fair and square on Talking Smack but said his shoulder wasn't quite 100%. I wouldn't call it props. In a way that's Cena trying to diminish AJ's win actually. Cena's essentially saying he wasn't 100% so AJ beat an injured Cena which is just a very lame excuse. It's part of what makes Cena such an inconsistent face. My favorite moment of Cena being bad at sportsmanship was when Del Rio cashed in the MITB, CM Punk opened the show with a "I'm not at mad Del Rio for I have done it before but I'm warning him about the consequences of doing so" promo. Then John Cena later on the show cuts a heated promo on how he lost all respect for Del Rio and he's a cheating piece of shit while questioning his manhood. It's absurd how often cena questions someone's manhood He did that on Smackdown with AJ too. Said Aj has no idea what being a real man is and I just thought, AJ is a husband and a father. He knows way more about what it means to be a man than Cena does.

He can bring up he's a husband and a father and says Cena is neither. You can obviously add a more heelish tone it to it like I'm committed to something while you can't commit to anything ask Nikki.

It's the perfect comeback which is likely why they didn't have him say it.

The heels never admit they're wrong.
Cena is a true heel. Much like Hogan in the 80's. Has been for years.
He's so heel he apologized to The Rock after becoming everything he said he didn't like about The Rock.
A delusional, ego driven, entitled heel.

Don't worry Nattie-who is a Hart and the niece of Legend Bret Hart-is gonna say it-after mentioning that she's part of the Hart family and her uncle is the legendary Bret Hart-before AJ gets the chance next SDLive where Nattie, the niece of Bret Hart the wrestling legend will be. Fixed it for you.
