Sometimes, it's almost too hard to keep up with. So watching the 1st show from the hidden season and Mr. Touchdown is tecnico again.. and apparently Icarus is also. But why? They lost the Cibernetico but nothing more came out of that right? Why are these 2 no longer hexed but Wicked and Frightmare still are? If this happened in the 1st show of Season 18, it would be interesting to have to go back to Season 17 and see what unfolded but that's not the case. The timeline is Supremacy.. Hexxed men lose...Season 17 opener, some of the Hexxed Men are technico. And oh no, I've gone cross eyed...

UltraMantis as the vessel would Hex them and then they'd be turned. Wicked and Frightmare were Tyr'd. It seems Thunderfrog did in fact shatter the eye and so Nazmaldun's hold on the HeXed is gone, but I guess as Wicked and Frightmare were just straight Tyr'd that their hold is much deeper. Kobald? I guess being dead, then not, then hexed and now not has just messed his mind up. |

and FYI they specifically mention at one point that as soon as the Eye was removed from Ultramantis that all the others that were hexed snapped out of it and the only only left siding with Hallowicked was Frightmare.

There's two possibilities. In Lost typically they would do flashbacks all the time. In the final season they did something that people dubbed "flash-sideways" which was showing what was going on in what was assumed to be an alternate timeline but was later revealed to actually be all the characters in purgatory. In this version of purgatory each character was kind of off in their own little world until an interaction with another of the characters from the island basically woke them up to realizing they were dead. Since time didn't really exist in this purgatory, even the people who died long after you were still in purgatory. So it wasn't like "I'm dead, now I have to wait around for so and so to die," once you died, they were just there too.
My point being that Chikara could go either way. I doubt they would use the purgatory angle because then that would be way too depressing. So it could either be a time-travel angle or them just doing flashbacks to something that already happened. In Lost at one point several characters did in fact get sent back in time. It was here that they assumed they could change the timeline by doing certain things. The "Flash-sideways" things were assumed by many people to be proof that their plan worked but ultimately it was revealed that "Whatever Happened Happened" and there was nothing they could do to change the ultimate outcome of the timeline. This somehow could come into play here.

I think the reason for this secret season is quite simple. Mike finally realised that the stories were dragging at iceberg speed and decide to make a "extra" season to speed things up
