Here you go, WB, you'll be needing this. Since it's WB, what they really want is: And don't forget

Aside from Mikasa, everyone in AoT seems to be white, so unless they don't put one Asian girl/woman in there, yeah, no need. as I said earlier Attack on Titan is almost entirely German in style and character names. Hell, the 2nd opening starts off in German doesnt it

Hell, the 2nd opening starts off in German doesnt it Both openings start off with German. See, this just serves to make me want a live action Kill la Kill movie. Though I'd likely hate it, guarantee they'd water down the absurdity of the Life Fibers plot and there is no chance Mako could be as great as she is in live action.

She runs on cartoon logic.

I can see it now. Eren's dad comes from a far land known as America. Before dying, he taught Eren all about the ways of these warriors known as marines. Armin is a small, fuzzy creature that provides comic relief. And The titans look like Doomsday.

Yikes. Turns out it isn't so. So much for a gray joyless yet realistic Attack on Titan: www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-01-18/kodansha-rep-report-of-warner-bros-attack-on-titan-films-is-incorrect/.111191Deadline Hollywood reported on Tuesday that Warner Bros. is in negotiations to get the film rights to the Attack on Titan franchise. A public relations representative of publisher Kodansha said on Wednesday that "Deadline's report is incorrect." The representative noted, "There are many works where negotiations are advancing for film adaptations. I cannot comment on what is within contract negotiations." Deadline's report stated that Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them producer David Heyman would be on board to produce a proposed two-film project that would remake the 2015 Japanese live-action film adaptations. According to Deadline, Warner Bros. was hoping to develop the project after its live-action Akira film. Warner officially green-lit the Akira film in 2011, but the project has been delayed. Former Variety and The Wrap reporter Jeff Sneider reported last summer that Warner was targeting director Justin Lin ( Fast & Furious franchise, Star Trek Beyond) for the project.

Am sure the internet brigade would be out in force against casting western actors. Check out the glory happening on The Great Wall social right now.

For an Attack on Titan movie it wouldn't be whitewashing to cast a White actor for many of the characters.

And when Andy Lau can open a film, it will. But until then, a Chinese film group casting Matt Damon as a European in a Chinese movie to give it more exposure to western box office is not a cause for a crusade.

What about the casting in Full Metal Alchemist? As they should be. Whitewashing has to stop. And when Andy Lau can open a film, it will. But until then, a Chinese film group casting Matt Damon as a European in a Chinese movie to give it more exposure to western box office is not a cause for a crusade. Well, in defense it is done by a Chinese group and they chose Matt Damon, and second he's not playing an Asian character, if he did that would be whitewashing.

As long as the issue is raised and people are seeing it as the problem it is, that's what's important.
