Love it
Note that Jedi is both a singular and plural noun

I like it, sounds appropriately desperate and dire Or uplifting and hopeful, depending on your point of view

Red font instead of yellow. Might be a much darker film than The Force Awakens.

The red logo has been used one other time in canon: At the start of the clone wars during episodes dealing with Darth Maul.
Rian Johnson seems to be heavily implying that Luke will be the main character in this movie. He and what he's been doing Ach-To. Things I've seen seem to say that this movie will be lore heavy.

Does this mean we can't refer to Return of the Jedi as simply "Jedi" anymore?

Sounds good. So, they haven't pissed me off yet. The red logo has been used one other time in canon: At the start of the clone wars during episodes dealing with Darth Maul. I actually own a book (a Special Omnibus Edition ahhhhhhh those 2 words first appeared near each other in SW lore in 1987!) collecting all 3 novelizations which has the red logo. (This one, minus the stamp up top, so I guess I have a reprint that has no print date inside - I can remember possessing it as far back as 1992, though.)

When you think about what ended up happening, The Force Awakens was a pretty dark movie in itself so if the red coloring of the font is a hint as to the tone of The Last Jedi, it might overtake Rogue One as the most depressing film in the franchise.

So, is this a Last Samurai situation where it could refer to either singular or plural tense?

I like the name, but when I first saw it all I could think was, "Luke better not f***ing die in this movie!"

This trilogy needs to end with Rey cutting off Kylo Ren's balls.

Is Snoke going to be revealed as Sho'nuff? Which would make Rey the daughter of Bruce Leroy thanks to the power of The Glow.

It should also be mentioned that Daisy Ridley flat out refuses to call Rey a Jedi. In interviews, she compared Rey to Leia in that they believe in the force, but they don't subscribe to any dogma.
I think the Jedi order is about to go the way of the Sith order. I think the force itself will make it so that there are no more force ideologies. No Jedi, No Sith, just the force. Warts and all. I say that because think of all those force users who became protagonists of the franchise: Anakin, Ahsoka, Kanan, Ezra, Luke. Even in Legends with Revan and The Exile. None of those people are pure Jedis. They all played it close. I think that's more deliberate than we think.
