Why did Conrad leave the Flair show? Flair is who brought him to the damn dance.
That being said, he is much better on Something to Wrestle a with..., which has becom my favorite podcast. Flair isn't that great at podcasting, but is there beef with Conrad and Naitch?

Rumor and innuendo (really just fan speculation) is something over the Sunny episode since both Conrad and Bruce got some phonecalls over that one with the Shawn lipstick story. Conrad stated it had nothing to do with that, and Flair just didn't wanna podcast anymore. Now Flair has a new podcast with a new host. Who knows. It's all gossip and since it's between two friends it's something that'll probably never come to light.

The Goldberg house show story told on the podcast is just nuts. It is even more crazy because it happen within a year of Goldberg doing WCW. Who gives someone that new so much power? WCW was truly the same as TNA. WCW was nothing more than a multi millionaire version of TNA. I feel bad about the times I defended Eric Bischoff, what a moron. He should be in jail for stealing Ted Turner's money. He's a failure. He was one of the responsables for cutting the head of the goose that laid the golden eggs.

Finally listened to the three hours.
Goldberg is the embodiment of wcw, became popular by luck and mismanagement killed them both.
There was never a plan for Bill Goldberg. Tony said that while he was walking down the ramp, he yelled at the production crew to tell them how he was supposed to call the man and if he had a nickname. At the last second Bischoff just told Tony to call him Goldberg.
Before starting the streak, Goldberg had four dark matches with Sarge (his trainer) and Buddy Landell. That's why he got exposed in matches that lasted longer than a minute. Also, nobody taught him how to cut a promo which is why nobody ever had him talk.
Tony made a great point about the jackhammer being so impressive as a finisher, that he kinda implies it was the main reason he got over.
This podcast is a must hear. It's filled with wtf moments. Tony gave the best quote about the company, "we lost the war because we didn't knew what the f*** we were doing"

The last episode they did together was after the Sunny episode, and Flair and Conrad were talking about how Flair got Conrad tickets to the National Championship game in Tampa. I wonder what happened, they seem to have a strange relationship. It is interesting because I always assumed Conrad was just Flair's buddy who he asked to help with the podcast, and it seems to turned out to blossom into a side career for him. I think that is kind of cool.

The press powerslam was cool, too, but I can't remember if that came later.

Haven't finished listening to it yet, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it so far. Agreed with whoever said it earlier that hearing Tony say "f***" was so weird, but he seems like a funny, amiable dude, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this show develops.

No selling no psychology no promo lol The Louis Theroux documentary was a telling insight into what the Powerplant was and why it turned out so many flawed workers, he was flat out tortured with drills as the focus seemed to be on fitness rather than ring skills. So many guys came out of there looking like a million bucks, able to do moves with no idea how to string those moves together into a good match.

Jimmy Yang said that they really didn't learn shit from sarge. I think Sean O'Haire and the other guys who joined the wwe pretty much had to be trained again from the beginning. Buddy Parker should've been fired from the power plant once they saw Goldberg couldn't do basic chain wrestling sequence in the Regal match. But I wouldn't put it past management that they didn't even care to learn how Parker was training the guys.

Him kissing ass of everybody in the WWE got boring.

Yeah, some people got rackled at Lance Storm saying that part of why a lot of WCW guys failed when they got to WWE was because the acceptable workrate in WCW was lower than WWE's, but this is the kind of stuff he was talking about. I have to wonder if the smaller ring helped cover for some weaknesses, too, at times. You had less room to run around like a chicken with its head cut off, for one. You also avoid rookie shit like getting to the top rope and realizing someone is way out of place for a top rope move, either through your fault or theirs, since it was just a lot harder to do that with a much smaller ring.

I mean, it was interesting, but he still didn't explain why he blocked me on Twitter. 4/10. Did you @ him with some wrestling related? Cause he blocked EVERYONE. Tony moved on and wanted NOTHING to do with wrestling. He even tweeted that AJ vs. Cena at the Rumble was the first match he's seen in 16 years! Also...

"Cussing machine" Tony Schiavone is great. I love his honesty and his disgust at how WCW was run. He kind of creeped me out as he was changing his voice as he ran down his list of the women he liked there saying each was a favorite of his. He sure had a lot of favorites. Haha. I felt bad for him being cussed out in front of his kids but he said it basically came with the territory. I really want to hear his memories of the Crockett sale to Turner. It sounds like there are some good stories there the way Schiavone reacted to that topic for the poll. I have too many of these hours long podcasts to listen to now, but they're all awesome.

I liked the podcast. I think I like it more than the Prichard podcast because:
1) Conrad really has to pull sometimes to get information from Prichard. A couple of the podcasts I get a little uncomfortable with the arguing between Conrad and Prichard.
2) Tony gives Meltzer some credit. I'm not going to pretend Meltzer is perfect, but Prichard never fails to attack Meltzer.
3) As evidence by his talk about Debra McMichael, Tony is a pervert. So here's to you Tony.
