I'll be 31 at the end of May, but the nice thing is that the more I worry about how old I'm getting, the longer it seems like I stay at an age. I was never worried about how old I was in my 20's and holy shit did they fly by.

Dirty thirty! Many happy returns.

It might seem a big deal, but I personally had one of the greatest decades of my life (I'm 42 this year). I travelled more, felt more comfortable in my personal and professional life, made friendships that will last forever...it was pretty good overall.

Age is only a number, my friend - go forth and enjoy the fourth decade of your life!

To be honest, in my 30s, the only thing that really surprised me was the fact I actually started attracting the attention of some girls. I had figured my time was over and was legitimately surprised by that. So there was a bit of a confidence boost that was sorely needed at the time as well, but I'll be honest... a large portion of my 30s has been spent coping with age and justifying who I am in these times. The conclusion I came up with is simple: 1. Take care of business 2. After that's done, do what makes you happy 3. f*** anyone who doesn't understand.

Made life a lot less stressful.

I appreciate all the birthday wishes. And yeah, I get where everybody's coming from. It's not so much I feel old. More that it's so surreal that I've made it to a fairly lofty number. I certainly hope that I'll be around for alot longer then that as well.

I'm 31 and I legitimately feel like life is over, which is admittedly insane. The day I turned 30, I just thought, "Well, that's it!" and that's the attitude I've had ever since. There's not much to look forward to at this point besides getting older and breaking down.
