I question the logic of a restaurant naming itself Other Guyz. Seems like a set up to a bit.

OK, so, I know a lot of people over the years say 'this is the worst this of all time' and 'this is the worst that of all time' and mostly it's hyperbole or exaggeration.
However, I think I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the 'Super Bowl Children' commercials are THE WORST of THE WORST of any ad concept ever conceived, PUN INTENDED!

So...that was it? That was the commercial that people were threatening to boycott over?
*sigh*

T-Mobile commercial would rank... high on my list.
Also, what is Persil and how did they get Bill Nye for their commercial?

I liked tonight's slate. Nothing particularly hilarious, but a lot to like.

I thought the Mr. Clean one was the best.

Sexy Mr Clean went from disturbing to hilarious really fast.
Other than that the commercial lineup was fairly unmemorable. Not bad mind you, just kinda normal.
I read a story this morning about that controversial ad that told people to go to it's website, it then crashed hard and nobody knew what it was about for quite a while.

I read a story this morning about that 84 Lumber ad that told people to go to it's website, it then crashed and still only like 6 people in the world know what that company even does and what the commercial was supposed to be. Just Googled it and apparently that was the controversial one? Huh. I haven't seen the "online only part", I'm assuming that's where the controversy was. It's a building materials supply company. It was political which is why fox blocked the ending.

I assume that company must be a regional thing? At my party last night (in Iowa) nobody had ever heard of it before. About everything else last night was at least somewhat known.
I'm still trying to figure out where that Persil (spelling?) detergent brand came from. I'm never seen in it my life but I'm seeing ads for it everywhere. Like actually everywhere.

I saw a few commercials (didn't watch the game), but didn't like any of them.
That 84 Lumber one was absolutely ridiculous (saw the unedited version on YouTube).
The Mr. Clean one sounds intriguing and I may have to check it out.
