What games did you force yourself to complete despite not liking them that much?
For me:
Uncharted 4: I thought the game was really slow paced compared to the others, or maybe the series is just stale now, but I completed it just because I love the chars and wanted to see what happened to them in the end.
COD: World at War: I just wanted to unlock zombies.

Final Fantasy 13: I really didn't like this one. I only decided to finish it just so I can say I completed another FF game.

Variation: I forced myself to get 100% completion on Kirby's Epic Yarn, which is actually quite fun... until you get to the minigames at the end which feel awkward and not quite fitting with the rest of the game design. The only disappointing aspect of an otherwise solid platformer.

Huge fan of the AC series, I didn't finish AC III because I enjoyed it it was because I had to. It was probably the only game I finished while being pissed off the whole time.

Mildly OT but since getting the new Nintendo I've made a commitment to beating Ghosts and Goblins.

Halo. The game had some good things going for it, and was very innovative for its time, but the atrocious level design made the game's latter maps a chore to complete.

Fable 2, and then once I got to the ending I was even more pissed off that I finished it.
Oblivion: thought it was a step down from Morrowind and didn't enjoy it that much. Plus the main story was kind of lackluster.
Force Unleashed: was a huge fan of the gameplay but it was very apparent that the story was something I was never going to be a fan of. Because of my rabid fandom of the franchise I buckled down and finished it. Was not a fan of the ending and apparently the 2nd one was even worse.

Epic Mickey. Great story, worst gameplay of all time. And I've played Superman 64.

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. Not the strategy game but that action shooter. It was just long corridors of shooting endless waves of enemies.
I'd also have to chime in on Halo. The Flood segments are the worst.

Revelation was this for me. It felt so plodding and while I do like Ezio, two games kind of made me want to play as someone else. I really liked AC III.

All these people talking about AC in gaming... it's still Asheron's Call to me dammit!
Resident Evil 6. I kept thinking "This has to get better". It didn't. It didn't at all.

Black Flag was awesome it seriously made me question whether it could replace II as my favorite AC game.

Sonic Adventure 2. Really shallow mecha gameplay and randomized treasure hunts were so much of a constant step backward that it might as well have been moon-walking. The Sonic/Shadow gameplay was actually fun when it actually let you A) play the game and A) glitch out due to the fact it let you play the game.

Brute Force on XBox. I liked it at first but grew way tired of it. My friend that I was playing with kept pushing me to finish it so I finally did but I didn't enjoy it. Same goes for Kane and Lynh.

I'll go with a recent one and say Mighty No. 9. I got it for Christmas and I'm in the process of forcing myself to complete it. It's god-awful and the boss fights are the cheapest things, but dammit, I'm going to finish this garbage.
