Angel Grove. The entire city is filled with empty building and the only business is a Juice bar that constantly give away free food. If it wasn't for the efforts of five teenagers, then the entire town would be f***ed.

Not a town but the village of Emmerdale, which has had a plane crash, a siege, a bus crash, a barn fire, a storm, other explosions, kidnapping(s), multiple murders, more fire, siege, some arson, massive car crash pile up, more explosions and more stuff I'm probably leaving out. Yet people chose to remain there and people move there I'm assuming with all this happening, the property value is extremely low. I think this applies to all the soaps and their settings. Emmerdale, Walford, Weatherfield, Hollyoaks, Brookside Close. They all seem like terrible places where tragedy continually strikes but people KEEP moving there!

Yeah, and it's not like Clark Kent is a low profile guy. Within the DC Universe, he and Lois Lane are two of the most famous people in Metropolis. The same Lois Lane that is very friendly with Superman. The same Superman that looks just like Clark without glasses.
