Big, big BIG update today. We get a lot of the usual fixes and adjustments, we got three new moves, but more importantly, we finally got new arenas! First up, the SCS Stadium: ![](https://i.imgur.com/iA7gg4Y.jpg) ![](https://i.imgur.com/yoCr8TF.jpg) Looks like it's based on 90's/early 2000's American arenas with the various screens on the stage, the barriers along the ramp and the ones around the ring being covered in tarps. Next is the Arena de Universo: ![](https://i.imgur.com/CHWNb2R.jpg) ![](https://i.imgur.com/n3EV5Sq.jpg) This one is clearly based on Mexican arenas and their... famous... backup dancers? I don't know. Pretty cool variation on arenas, though (unfortunately, they don't stick around during matches). As you can see from the second screenshot, the ramp connects to the ring (one of the arenas in R did that too IIRC) and you run towards the ring from that side, you'll bounce off the ropes as if you'd done it from the inside. One thing that the screenshot doesn't show all that well is that there is a lot of space between the ring and the barricades (again, much like in Mexican arenas). I really like that and it further makes me hope that we will eventually get a "falls count anywhere" stipulation. And last but not least, the Spike Dome: ![](https://i.imgur.com/j6hy1eW.jpg) The traditional Fire Pro arena based on the Tokyo Dome gets a bit of a makeover with more colours, more details and with smoke effects! But most importantlytest, more of my creations! For starters, two brothers with the violence of Mick Foley and the enthusiasm of Micky James, who view pain a blessing and wish to experiment with how far they can take it... as well as dish it out. They often keep matches going for much longer than they care more about hurting and getting hurt than about winning, and they consider hurting others to be honouring them. They are Andrew and Wilson Krysis! ![](https://i.imgur.com/41VZUXF.png) ![](https://i.imgur.com/bBWjsL7.png) She was a truck driver hauling her promotion's equipment around. One day, however, she broke up a fight that started between some of the wrestlers near her truck. The fed's higher-ups saw that and were so impressed that they decided to offer her a spot on the roster. She was hesitant at first but eventually accepted and started training. She still insists on driving her truck, though. She is Vivianne Toluca! ![](https://i.imgur.com/pWXq5Z7.png) He embodies all things American, for better and for worse. He can be a reliable and inspiring ally just as much as he can be a stubborn annoyance when he feels the need to get involved in things that aren't any of his business, he is Spirit of 76! ![](https://i.imgur.com/fSNTzUS.png)

I'd probably be the only one for it, but I'd love to see a small Memphis-like arena.

Oh shit! Completely forgot about another huge thing: They're doing a poll where you can vote for what moves you want to see in the game next! You can also write one in if you don't see it in the poll. The devs have already stated that if they see duplicate requests, they will add up all the votes from the multiple entries: www.rkursem.com/poll/view.php?id=60439106fd5da8a58

Yes, always wanted a small studio style arena I want that, and also an arena with a ring in someone's apartment for those fetish videos guys like Seth Rollins did when they needed the money. Just for the true indie experience.

Here's a real wrestler & fictional character tag team tournament I'm doing in Fire Pro Wrestling World. Posted this in off-topic already, but I wanted to post it here too, so everyone here can see it.

It's so cool that Fire Pro has as many customization options as it does and they still listen to their fanbase whenever possible. Says a lot about the developers.

It seems like the people involved really love the series and didn’t take this new version lightly at all, especially since the last game with the Fire Pro name was the Avatar cash grab on Xbox Live.

Yeah, Tomoyuki is a massive FPW fan, as are the entire crew, IIRC. He's been lobbying Spike Chunsoft for quite a few years to get an updated version out, and they finally bit. They have a small crew (I think he said it's really only 12 people) to keep the cost down, so my hope is that they're doing good with Steam sales, and that it'll get even better once it launches to PS4. Right now, I've stalled out on the game, thanks to my work schedule, my various other interests, and because the CAW is so deep that it's been hard to sit down and make my usual clutch of wrestlers (it's also annoying that replacing wrestlers hairs often leaves blank spaces on their heads, so I've been trying to be creative with their hairstyles, which has been frustrating.) I'm also dealing with the fact that I can't stream anything of the game or capture, since I got an Elgato, not realizing it's almost impossible to stream PC games with it, especially when you only have one computer to run the game and capture. It's been frustrating.

When I get around to making my 'new' fed, I may need suggestions on finishers, hmm.

That, along with it being a passion project, seem like good motivations. They had a lot of good will to try to win back, along with wanting to get people outside of their niche audience to look at the game.

They've sold just short of 40k according to steam spy. As for the second part, oh man! Use a skull cap bro! They are towards the very end of hair styles. They will make whatever face you pick completely bald. Just copy and paste the skintone so they match. From there add any hairstyle you want!

I'd expect a decent jump in the christmas sale

From there add any hairstyle you want! I hadn't even thought of that, which in retrospect is very silly considering that's probably exactly what they were made for.

Another big update and one that finally brings in features I've been wanting to see in Fire Pro since Returns! For starters you can now edit every single body part individually. Well, the characters are still symmetrical, but the limbs have been divided in multiple parts. On top of that, the seemingly arbitrary cap on how much you could resize a limb has been removed, and you can now resize them from 0 to 200%. Meaning that we can now create revolting freaks! ![](https://i.imgur.com/3lxvkxR.jpg) Or, for a not completely stupid idea, you could just use it to create more realistic skinny and obese characters. I guess.![](https://i.imgur.com/fucGAIA.jpg) ![](https://i.imgur.com/PwH6yeJ.jpg) They've also added 11 new voices, 3 moves and a lot of minor adjustments.
