I'm giving a lot of thought to buying this for both systems. Because why wouldn't I?

Ah wait, so is this coming out on PS4 outside of Japan? Because I keep telling myself I don't want to fiddle with PC stuff for one game but this game tho... I'll f***ing buy a japanese console just to play it. Lemme just start jotting down the replacement names for all of you....

You wouldn't even have to, all you'd need is a Japanese PSN account, from what I understand. But because they made an effort to give the game presentation both Japanese and English language titles at GDC, I have a feeling an American release is a slam dunk.

I know, I was pointing out I'd fly and live in osaka if it meant playing a new fire pro. Here's looking to finally having a kudo driver

I'd be more hyped if I could actually play it. Maybe my laptop can handle it. But sad no Xbone. It's a port of a PS4 game, so expect it to need DX11. If you don't have a high-end gaming laptop with a dedicated graphics card (ie : NOT intel integrated graphics), you won't be running DX11 games on your laptop. Now, if somehow they port it down to DX9, then yeah, there's a shot it'll run on your laptop.

It's Spike Chunsoft and it's on Steam (thankful that the rumor that it was going to be Switch-Exclusive turned out not to be true). So yeah, it'll be in English.

the other biggest downside there that'd have to be said as well is in the apparent details: Keyword- only 30 " GUYS". Whether or not it's fully succeeded- it is just enough that if you want to really get modern-day rosters for all the biggest promotions down pat, you NEED the ability to create female wrestlers- and all signs we're seeing would have the question mark if there even are women in the game or the ability to create them. I honestly doubt they'll leave women wrestlers out of the mix. Joshi is still important in puroresu, and I don't think they'll leave them off to the side. There's also so many pieces in the game, even if the game doesn't ship with any women on the roster, I'm sure we'll be able to create women in the game. I have wondered something. Is the 30 wrestlers what they plan for the final game, or could 30 be what's in early access on Steam? From what I understand it's for early access. We're glorified beta testing the game

Definitely I'm gonna try to make my Hollywood Pro Wrestling edits again. I know me and some of the old fireproof club members are trying to get one of our guys who passed away as a default character in game. It would be a fitting tribute to him

I've never played these games but I'm intrigued.
Can you download CAWS like WWE games, cause I hate making them.
Also what sort of season mode does Fire Pro games have.
These are the main selling points for me.

CAWS out the wazzoo my friend, goto fwarena.com for all your CAW needs, and then you'll never leave your house again or anything really as for the other thing, not really a japanese thing though, it does have MATCH MAKER MODE, but never tried it for FPR ..... super fire pro wrestling x apparently has a typically weirdo story thing .....

Im losing my mind with this...The fact that it's on steam has me so giddy...Also the online spectator mode is sick because I rarely play the actual matches anyway

I've never played these games but I'm intrigued. Can you download CAWS like WWE games, cause I hate making them. Also what sort of season mode does Fire Pro games have. These are the main selling points for me. The Playstation and Dreamcast had a primitive way of transferring save files with all types of CAWS, known as EDITs in Fire Pro, on them. The PS2 version that is still so well supported uses Pro Action Replays to transfer files from your computer to the PS2. The PS3 version of FPR is actually the easiest of them all to transfer saves. So, after saying all that, there hasnt been a new FP since 2005, and online sharing wasnt back then what it is now. But we have full faith that Spike will have somwthing very similar to WWE2k in that you'll be able to download other people's wrestlers, logos, rings, etc. As for a Season mode, traditionally Fire Pro games had them. Super Fire Pro X had a rather interesting story going on, and Fire Pro G was probably the best one they did where you started as a dojo rookie and had to go to different parts of the globe to train and learn different styles. But traditionally the season mode is not terribly more than wrestling every other wrestler in the game. They have had Match Maker and other modes where you book talent, manage contracts, allocate money for advertising, etc. All stuff you would find in franchise modes of sports games. As for what this one will have? Who knows but Im positive it'll be good. Spike is trying to make this everything the fans want.

I won't lie, Returns is one of my favorite games of all time, and a high bar of a game to try to match up to, but I have full faith that this game is gonna be everything it should.

I'm a big tournament guy, and the Round Robin feature was something I absolutely loved in FPWR. I'm really hoping it's included again in World.
