If Randy Orton came out tomorrow and said that he hasn't tried throughout the entirety of his career, I would absolutely believe it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, work wise, I think Orton's the most motivated he's been in a long time and he's been so since he came back last year.

Whatever Orton is doing, or not doing, is working. This is the first time in years I have looked forward to seeing him.

It's amazing how one person can see something one way, and others in a completely different way. That's what's great about pro wrestling. If this was football, I'd just say "The Cleveland Browns suck", and then everyone else would reply "Yup", "You're right", "Correct", "Right on", etc. There would be no argument. What a great sport!

No pants Randy is just boring. Him making subtle variations on his character while he's been locked in place on the card having the same matches over and over just was not getting it done anymore. This is at least something a little different. He seems into it.

It's been a pretty great few months since Orton's return. There was a good lull between the end of the Brock feud and the second act of the Wyatt (their intial feud was absolute dog's dinner), but the course has been corrected since and the Wyatt/Orton bromancia is pretty intriguing stuff. I mean, you could pull the "haha, got you, I was playing you all along" card, but considering the Orton character has actually suffered in protecting Bray, we'll get a bit of a character work out of it even if it does end up with an old switcheroo.

It's a boring storyline, and a completely illogical one. The Wyatts have been booked as being less threatening than Raven's Flock, which is also why Bray's title win lacks credibility. It's bizarre that Orton would choose this mediocre faction to join, much less be subservient to a guy who loses most of his feuds.

How could you even tell? "Oh, his resthold looks a little loose." "He's slightly more monotone than usual." Sometimes his RKOs aren't outta nowhere. BAH GAWD, RKO OUTTA SOMEWHERE!

I have enjoyed his work as of late but I am kinda hoping he stays out of the main event and instead maybe him and Bray attack brock as his reward for not fighting bray.

This is the most fun I've had watching Randy Orton since his 2009 punting the McMahons run. Randy Wyatt shouldn't stop being a thing.

Orton actually looks and feels more motivated than he has been maybe since the whole "Hunting down Rollins and The Authority" angle before he got hurt.
Dudes not only killing it as a character but has helped Elevate Wyatt to Tag Team Gold and The World Title in a very short time. Not only that, aside from the usual restholds, Randy is killing it in matches lately. Chad Gable pinned him TWICE, getting American Alpha super over (Though they've really been left as a super team with no competition right now) and his match vs Harper basically put Harper on the map with the crowd, who were cheering for Randy to Start and way behind Harper to finish, and that's carried over to just this past week when Harper was being cheered over AJ Friggen Styles... and I cant WAIT for that match next week.
Orton has done a lot of small things and honestly has been doing way more than Cena (Up till The Chamber when Cena took two clean L's to Bray) in terms of being the established top talent that's helping elevate everything around him and even possibly setting the stage for guys to rise above him in the future. I can only hope it lasts and we get an awesome program for Mania with it all in the end.
