Usually the only people for whom cheating ends up being like, this huge career ruiner for people in the public eye is politicians, due to one or another policies that I won't mention due to tripping up rules, but for pretty much anyone else, because their moral fiber is never really something that enters even remotely into their qualifications, they're generally fine. Even on the "Seth only didn't catch heat because he was a top guy" front; the real problems there were in his company twitter account getting accessed by his fiance, and in Seth's dong being shown on the WWE.com (and I think the app too) twitter feed while Raw was on. There was way too much there for it to really be a good comparison point.

I mean, that's shitty but it's weird that this can affect his job when it's totally unrelated. IDK. Maybe, but man do people ever get off on using Twitter to get people fired (or at least demand people be fired) for off-the-job stuff.

If adultery were a fireable offence, Orton would be gone, Cena would be gone, hell, half the roster would be gone and even Vince himself. Yes he's a douche, but what he did is not a crime and punishing him would be a MASSIVE act of hypocrisy on the WWE's part and would likely backfire because people will ask why other people weren't canned for the same actions.

Especially if you add the fact where, honestly- popularity does come into play depending on whether people get fired. A good example: Whether you believe Emma should have been fired for her shoplifting mistake or Cameron fired for her DUI- when Emma WAS fired, people rioted on Twitter over "just being fired for this when Cameron got to keep her job for a DUI", and Cameron...had people want to be fired over her DUI. The biggest difference- Emma was popular with the fans, Cameron was not. Using the "what if Mauro Rinallo or Michael Cole did it"...maybe they would get the same reaction, maybe not...but I am almost certain if Corey Graves, the most popular of the announcers, said the exact same thing, no one would call for his job.

Well, the "people get a rush out of using Twitter to demand someone be fired" thing goes far beyond just wrestling. But in just a wrestling context, yeah.

what would be different besides a "MAMA MIA!" thrown in there? A few pop culture references for good measure? Three Percs and a big bag of weed.

I didn't know half the board were Victorian era Puritans. Cheating is bad and it's wrong but unless he's violating some kind of morality clause in his contract which is a stupid thing unless your job title basis is based on morality like being a Preacher why is there an outrage?
Back to more sex jokes and roastings of Tom Phillip's please.

Philips was obviously crouching not to be shorter, but because of the weight of his huge balls.

I know everyone has their own view on relationships and whatsoever, but in my opinion, it's love and trust between 2 people. I think cheating is one of the nastiest things you can do. I wouldn't call it being Puritan, but I also don't see cheating on your partner, espescially one that you're engaged to be married to, as a simple 'enjoyment'. It's absolutely disgusting. Like I said, WWE shouldn't get involved, but some people seem to think it's the most acceptable thing in the world.

I literally had no idea he was married until I saw this thread so I have no idea what there relationship status is. It might be the case which it often is he's a mega douche, sometimes it's the case of lonely emotions and bad judgment, sometimes it's because the marriage is failing and the cheater was pushed into it. The point is I literally have no idea who he is, who his spouse is, what there relationship was like, if it was a good or bad one, etc so I'm not going to get outraged by calling for his job or calling him a mega douche because I don't know and I don't really care. What I really care about is that goofy as f*** selfie he took, the I'm going to face f*** the shit out of you, and jokes and roasting in the expense of Tom Phillip's.

Ugh, that woman. "I am sooo sorry for his wife, I'm gonna post this screen grab of our conversation that might help humiliate her".
I can't judge Phillips too much without knowing much about his situation. Maybe they're estranged, maybe they have an open relationship...I don't know or care. I can't imagine it impacting him too much.

What a douche. He should be in jail. A bit overkill. Not at all. That's exactly where he should be -- but not just any jail. The Supermax in Colorado.

He should be locked into a capsule and fired from a cannon into outer space Let's not get crazy, now. There's much more efficient ways to send him into outer space than with a cannon.

There's been enough DUIs in WWE, regularly happening, that the "Emma did something accidental, Cameron could have killed somebody" was a moot point. Many by more popular wrestlers, who aren't seen with a "job at risk" worry.

Do you know Tom Philipps or his fiancee?
