I hate to beat a dead horse after starting this thread on two occasions in the past five years or so. But lately, it seems like people are breaking the simplest of rules, ranging from embedding youtube videos with WWE footage to referencing a certain politician. So, again, I'd like to get a feel for how many members actually know our rules and to use this thread as a reminder for you to check them out if you haven't already.

I'll be honest I've never looked at the rules here before. Before I joined however I had Mackenzie Gorn give me a cliff note version on what not to do. |

Honestly, I did not, but I just observe how others act in order to get reprimanded/flamed/etc., and do my best to do the polar opposite of what they did.

Yes, right at the beginning because I was so paranoid of doing something wrong and getting banned over something stupid that I did. I still look through them every so often.

Before I was staff I don't think I ever did to be honest. I just took the common sense approach of what others did and followed suit.
We had some weird rules back then too, like breaking YT links that had bad words into segments was a thing for some weird reason.

I double check the youtube rules every time I find something from the WWE channel to post, just to be sure. We'd probably let everyone know if a youtube rule was going to change. So you probably don't need to check constantly, but thanks for trying. The WWE/youtube rule is violated pretty frequently even though we've had a pinned announcement on it for the longest time, and it's not difficult at all to determine if a video is from WWE's account or not. |

I did when I first job. I had a couple minor slips over the years that I got a PM about as a reminder. Most of the time I tend to post stuff that is based on common sense and that I know isn't or shouldn't be offensive.
