I feel like I just got punched in the stomach. 61 seems young to me and I know him from a metric ton. Commando, Aliens, True Lies, Titanic, Twister, Apollo 13, most recently Agents of SHIELD. It just... hurts. And with the Oscars tonight, it will be on the minds of a lot of people.
Sympathies to his family and a good rest to his soul. You will be missed.

Titanic was showing last night and I watched but only focused on his part at the end and literally thought "wow he added a lot despite having a small part" and I wake up to this. Sucky. Real sucky. May he R.I.P. So young

Bill Paxton is the true definition of a character actor. Often you watch a movie and you see a character and you're like damn who is this entertaining personality? Then when the credits role "BAM!" "SURPRISE MOTHERf***ER IT'S BILL PAXTON MOTHERf***ING SURPRISING YOU AGAIN!" RIP to the only man who fought The Terminator, Predator, and a Xenomorph.

A mutual just had a baby boy the other day, named him Paxton. So I spent the last few dad's making light hearted jokes lreferring to baby as Pullman or saying his full name was Paxton Pullman. So the timing is a bit odd. 62 is still to young. I'll watch Apollo 13 in his honour.
