I have been thinking, with Fire Emblem warriors coming out for the Switch (And I dreaded, the 3DS) soon, I feel that there are many a franchise that deserve a Dynasty Warriors spinoff game. I'm going to start with 3 franchises that need a Dynasty Warriors Spinoff game:
1: Dragonball/DBZ/GT/Super: even if it means we have to see the story of Dragonball Z for the millionth time, it's high time for a DB dynasty warriors game.
2: Persona: the Persona series is ripe for a Dynasty Warriors game, my idea for the story mode should be about a protagonist (who is customizable) sent back in time to prevent time demons from altering the events of all 6 (there are actually 6 persona mainline games as Persona 2 is broken up into 2 parts: Innocent Sin and Eternal punishment) mainline persona games in the Persona timeline. Chie better be in this game and her Dancing All Night outfit better be in the game too.
3: Final Fantasy: with a lot of history, FF would make good fodder for a Dynasty Warriors spinoff game.
Which franchises do you think deserves the Dynasty Warriors treatment?

Star Wars seems like a natural fit honestly.

Honestly, with the NUMEROUS franchises they have, I could almost see a Disney Warriors game.
If you need villains just tie it with Kingdom Hearts.

The problem with Dragon Ball Z Dynasty Warriors is they don't really have many characters in the way of generic henchmen. After the Frieza Saga there's really nothing left. You can do Saibamen, random Frieza soldiers, maybe Cell Jrs... and that's about it.

Berserk and The Band of the Hawk's engine would fit a medieval one nicely.

Oh, and one I may be in the minority for but I think could work...Sailor Moon Warriors.
You already have a bunch of characters with the Sailor Senshi as is, add Tuxedo Mask and a few villains and you have a good Warriors game.

I'd play a street-level Marvel styled Warriors. Know what else I'd play? The Warriors: Warriors. I never played the second Fist of the North Star entry, I actually loved the first when I came out but when I revisited it holy hell was it clunky.

Power Rangers they keep making all these other types of games yet the one style of game made for a power rangers game has not been touched amazes me.

I never played the second Fist of the North Star entry, I actually loved the first when I came out but when I revisited it holy hell was it clunky. As someone who did play the second Hokuto Musou, you didn't miss much. Nothing was really added to make the game feel any different, and the Asura arc is just plain bad. Also, the ending was one of the stupidest endings I've ever seen for an anime-based property. What made it worse was that that was the canon ending from the manga. However, it followed the story more closely, and had a lot more unique non-playable enemies, which I think more Warriors-style games like One Piece or the main series could use. As for series that could use a Warriors spinoff, I'd say maybe Lord of the Rings, Fairy Tail, or even go back to Legends of Troy and do a Greek or Norse mythology game.

Ninja Turtles would be freaking great for it.
The Turtles, Splint, Casey, Usagi Yojimbo, April in some cases, villains from Shredder, Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, and more, Slash, Karai, if anything, it'd be harder to narrow it down than to fill a cast.

I just thought of that one too. I'm upset Mutants in Manhattan let people down.

Half-joking.. but God Of War. Only one character to level up, Kratos... and he kills the entire Universe.
