The part when Maude is the only graduate was funny, and Pinkie Pie was hilarious being over enthusiastic, you can tell her sisters were annoyed, I mean Limestone is no surprise, she is the angry, but even Marble was annoyed. Calm down Pinkie, thought that would be the theme of the episode.
Maude and Starlight knowing each other in the past, that was a nice little twist. And when it looks like they natural can become friends, Pinkie ruins it by butting in. And seeing Maude act annoyed, that is a new side to her, I like seeing more sides to her character.
Though when Pinkie was talking about grand children, are you trying to set up a friendship or a ship. Ha ha.
So in the Pinkie learns her of not trying to do everything her way when it comes to friendship, and Maude moves to a place close to Ponyville, but not in Ponyville.
I do hope we get a Starlight / Maude / Trixie episode down the line, I don't know about you guys, but I was thinking all this time, what would Trixie think of this, would she be jealous, if not a good talk from Discord would make her jealous. And she does have history with that family, though in my head canon her history is more with Igneous and Limestone. I want a Trixie / Limestone, that would be great. And when Discord be possessive of Fluttershy, so would Trixie have that same possessiveness? Only time will tell.
And I love Maude, why can't Limestone and Marble get more screen time. Why do the writers have to favor Maude so much?
And I was worried that that Ghastly Gorge was a town with actually ponies, because Pinkie Pie putting Ghastly Gorge very off putting, and if it had citizens, I would really think that would be out of character for Pinkie to put any pony down.
