I was reading about Stevie Nicks writing the song "Silver Springs" after she saw it on a road sign and thought it sounded like a cool place.
I have always liked the sound of anything with the word "Valley" in it. Silicon Valley, San Fernando Valley, places like that. It makes me think of a cool community where it's sunny and just great weather that's kinda laid back
Nova Scotia also seemed like an interesting name to me, though I don't know what I'd be expecting once I got there.
You? what have you imagined about these places based on their names?

I was a little kid and was excited to go to Brainard, MN on a fishing trip. I thought we were going to a resort that would be full of people like Einstein.

I often drove past an exit for a place called Luna Pier.
I have no idea what it is like. It is near the Ohio/Michigan border, and probably isn't nearly as pretty as it sounds.

There's a place in England called The Land of Nod which I always imagined to be a cool, whimsical fairytale type village.

Wrestling has some great ones. All I know about that place is that they have RVD, Sabu, and cereal factories. Also, Sojourner Truth died there. Truth or Consequences, New Mexico

I've always thought a lot of places in California sound cool. (As well as the word California too)
Thousand Oaks. Echo Park. Larchmont Village. I don't know if they're total dumps but they sound really pretty and relaxing.

There's a horse racing track in the UK at a place called Plumpton.
I imagine thatched cottages, tea rooms and people all on bicycles.

Intercourse PA sounds like it should be the greatest college town in the history of our sport.
