I feel like, eventually, it's going to catch up with JBL and he's going to do something to the wrong person and they're going to be forced to deal with it, like they had to with DeMott. The older he gets, the more he thinks the tough guy macho bullshit he can get away with, and he'll discover that he can't in a publicly traded company (at least one can hope).
Also, say what you will about Dreamer and how he does things, it's nice to see that he put his foot down with that. Of all people, I'm surprised he gets that the frat mentality of tormenting others for laughs is dying out, and was willing to put people in their place.

Come to think of it, wasn't part of the reason why Mickie James was originally released that she partied so much during an overseas tour that she delayed the buses and inconvenienced everyone else? Possibly. I know that was an issue because there was that volcano eruption in Iceland that completely wrecked European air travel for a week, just as WWE were doing their spring tour there. It ended up grounding half the roster and they weren't able to make RAW the next week.

Sounds a touch defensive, as JBL never does anything according to him

Addressing bullying rumors by saying the entire roster hated someone seems like a solid way of clearing your name.

Yeah, JBL is a bully asshole. No shocking news there. But we are glossing over others who practiced the same level of sadism and hazing in the name of protecting the biz & maintaining tradition. What about the time Daniel Puder got viciously attacked by Eddy, Holly, and Benoit during the Rumble? Or Puder getting grief from the boys after nearly breaking Angle's arm during that Tough Enough Challenge that WWE treated as a shoot? We get on Bill DeMott for his ruthless taskmaster stint in developmental while ignoring that the McMahon family were cool with it. Hunter knew about DeMott's previous Deep South Wrestling fiasco but brought him back to be the head trainer of NXT because he liked his methods. Plenty of incidents from of both genders do stupid shit to people they hate or razing throughout WWE history. People that we like and respect has done dirt. Remember when Sasha Banks crossface the crap outta Alexa Bliss in NXT causing her nose to bleed? JBL is so disliked that folks will take him down in a heartbeat when they can. Pro wrestling in general is a different enviroment than conventional ones. It takes a special breed of person to willingly destroy their bodies and shorten their lives in the name of performance art. People who are on the fringe of what we consider normal behavior. If you think JBL is bad, you need to hear about the stories of what young boys and girls suffer in Japanese dojos and on shows. Wrestling itself is scummy and attracts like minded scum. Matter of how much you want to be blissfully numb about. Don't take this as defending JBL's behavior. But he won't be the last even when all of his generation retire from wrestling.

How pure assholes like JBL, who have NO EXCUSES IN THE WORLD TO BEHAVE LIKE THIS, can run around unscathed and free as a bird, I'll never understand WWE's prison yard mentality. It's why I'm glad the younger generation in WWE prefer to spend their time doing harmless fun things like playing video games and having sex. It'd be best if they keep the title belts out of the bedroom though.

That's a really good way to distract people from the comments that you're a bully; call your alleged victim an idiot on twitter.

Above is one of the reasons why they secretly don't want that. Because the moment wrestling becomes popular again and someone goes to a mainstream publication and says this stuff to a Today Show or a 60 Seconds, the WWE's got a PR nightmare on their hands. It's fine right now because, well, nobody gives a crap right now. Justin Roberts isn't going to get on The View talking about this stuff.

Too bad he doesn't elaborate on why everyone hates him. If he's half as irritating in real life as he was when he was with company I can easily believe it. Roberts always made me irrationally annoyed.

Love the idea that ECW crew moved in and Tommy Dreamer pulled everyone in line.
JBL sounds like SUCH a twat. Not the first time we've all heard stuff like this and it is almost certain that it won't be the last.
Business as usual. WWE will always appear to just brush it aside as roster shenanigans.

Considering how the media and people treat the NFL even after its scandals and other issues involving the players, WWE has little to worry about. All it takes is media access, free stuff, & superstars appearance for positive press. Which they do for Wrestlemania. And even if a PR nightmare does break out, most won't care. 2016 showed how much people's bark is bigger than their bite.

I won't answer net rumors, but these net rumors are totally false. Also me answering these net rumors is false, as I am not answering them because I won't. Good one, John. You got it all figured out.

The NFL is a national institution that's pretty much untouchable, as sad as that is. Compared to it, pro wrestling just plain isn't and doesn't have the same integration. The only reason no more fuss was made of Benoit was because of where WWE was at that time.

The only reason no more fuss was made of Benoit was because of where WWE was at that time. The Benoit story lost the media attention because it no longer was a big, sexy story to cover. People reacted with shock and outrage before going meh. WWE is actually more well known than most will give credit to. Not at the levels of Hulkamania but enough to making Strowman sized bank every quarter. Their last earning quarter was more than any period in the Attitude Era. You have more media coverage for WWE now than that time period. People know where the bodies are buried. Just don't care enough to dig them up because they can't make enough profit from it.
