Agreed. Kevin Nash did not need to win!

Orton beating HHH and Cena in the triple threat at Wrestlemania 24. I don't think anyone saw that coming. I am one of that "8%" (according to their phone poll) that said Orton would win. Why? Because it was a completely random shot in the dark.

Hardcore Holly over Billy Gunn and Al Snow at WM15. He was coming off years of C-level gimmicks and still had no defined personality. I seriously thought he was only out there to get hit with stuff and eventually be the one pinned.

Mark Henry pinning Ryback via literal squash at Mania 29. The moment I knew Ryback was done as a top level face of any sort.

Big Show beating Rusev and the way he did with that weird seated KO Punch
Should have never happened. I get Rusev needed to go off TV for a bit but still a fart of a way to do it.

Even more so given the match they were building Big Show up for fell though, getting into that great shape for what turned out to be two minutes in the Andre.

Orton winning the Rumble this year. It was a complete shock for me when someone I assumed was now a faded midcarder win it over Taker, Goldberg, Lesnar, Roman, Braun, Jericho etc.

Alberto Del Rio won a Royal Rumble, I think. It seems like it's not real, but I think it happened.
Vince McMahon winning any match. Oh wait, match results that surprise me, not make me want to ram my head through a wall out of anger.

There are many, but the one that sticks out to me is Triple H retaining at Wrestlemania 2000. For the previous 6 months, he had been maybe the biggest dick in the history of wrestling. Meanwhile, Rock and Foley had been amazing babyfaces, staying the course no matter how many screwjobs, beatdowns, and near firings they had to overcome. And then Triple H beats both of them again (albeit with help). It was all worth it for the glory of Rock winning the title at Backlash in one of the best moments WWE has ever had, but that night watching Mania it was absolutely surreal that Triple H won. It was the closest I've ever felt watching wrestling to the disappointment I feel when one of my favorite sports teams is eliminated from the playoffs.

Steve Austin pinning Big Show in March of 1999, I know the match was No DQ and took multiple chair shots to put Show down, but it's just crazy having him lose like in a month of his debut on an episode of Raw, common sense would say Show should have lost on PPV after Wrestlemania, but I suppose that's the Attitude Era for you (anything can happen!)

Austin winning the WWF title back from Kane the night after King of the Ring '98. HUGE moment, one of the most memorable Raws ever, insane crowd reaction, but I think most fans would have expected it to be at least the next month's PPV before Austin got the belt back.
Also, Sid beating Michaels for the title at the 1996 Survivor Series. Never thought they'd actually give Sid the belt.

I'm probably one of the biggest CM Punk detractors on the board, and even I thought it was dumb having him lose to Triple H in 2011.

Not too surprised, but I'm pissed Wyatt lost the title at WM.

Kurt Angle beating Rey Mysterio Jr at Summerslam 02. Rey had just joined the company and this was his first high-profile feud, and yet he lost.

2 Days has mostly been vindicated by history based on the feud being enjoyable and the matches being a highlight of both men's careers IMO but that was one of the biggest meltdowns I've seen in the IWC. I was shocked and more than a bit irate at the time.

I seriously thought he was only out there to get hit with stuff and eventually be the one pinned. I'll add to that the next year's WrestleMania opener - Big Bossman and Bull Buchanan beating The Godfather and D'lo Brown. I thought there was no way the faces could lose with a celebrity in their corner (one who performed, no less). But no, the buzzkill heels won, setting the stage for the unhappy night to come. Oh, and speaking of both WM2000 and Hardcore Holly, there was that awkward finish to the Hardcore Battle Royal. I think the participants themselves were surprised by that "result."
