Every single person on that roster has a chance now. When did Ellsworth become Dr. Manhattan? At least make him keep his pants on.

I'm just...genuinely amazed, that a guy who legit knocks out a man who figures to be a big money player in the company in his first match back, like...legit throws the sloppiest, suckiest looking forearm ever to knock him out....is REWARDED for it with a World Title push. It was an accident that could have happened to anyone
And since that match Jinders strikes have looked very crisp and very good.
Still, if I walked into work and accidentally knocked a motherf***er out because I was sloppy, they wouldn't make me the store manager. You shouldn't reward a f***-up.

I'm upset because this is just so bad narrative-wise. It's like...this working means WWE gets to try even less at storytelling and they already barely try. I'm worried the mindset now is that the only way to get heel heat is to give someone shitty the title and the fans will boo that (or cheer it as a meme?), which is just so wrong. For example, Owens can get major boos when he's booked right. There was no story change with Jinder going from long time jobber to world champion. They flipped a switch one night and now we're here. It's especially damning coming off an amazing heel turn with Ciampa last night.

Haha f***ng WWE. You got Madison having to make an announcement. Posters are fighting in the open. Hyperbole everywhere. Tempers flaring. Reports flooding in. You got the IWC's attention for better or worse, I'll give ya that. I look forward to podcast reviews of either guys laughing or yelling. I'll be entertained both ways. I'm keeping my opinions mostly elsewhere. I have no desire to get banned over this.

Bit of a difference between working in a store and being part of a very physical form of entertainment where you can easily hurt someone.

This is like them putting the belt on Khali back in 2007 for a couple of months. Except Khali actually hadn't been booked like a total idiot for his entire run. This Mahal thing though? This is a joke and frankly I don't think it will even appeal to anyone in India. Any fan there knows the guy has been a total and complete jobber his entire career and is blatantly unworthy of the title. I would actually think this might backfire since Indian fans can't be this dumb as to fall for it. It's actually the worst kind of patronizing to a particular audience, and it is coming at the expense of everyone else.
Either way I don't think this lasts that long. Khali held the title for 2 months. I bet Jinder loses it at MITB, either in a rematch to Orton in STL or the MITB winner cashes in.

Next time anyone gets upset about Roman Reigns, think about Jinder. Reigns' push makes legitimate sense, whether you like him or not. Incredibly over, booked like a force from day one, good wrestler. Compare that to being a piss break with a 3-1,765,6778 win-loss record suddenly being champion.

Being sloppy and f***ing up is still being sloppy and f***ing up. And he was sloppy and f***ed up. Then, he got rewarded for it.

I imagine "The Band" is celebrating backstage... Damn! Seeing this gif has made me realize just how roided out he's gotten since coming back. This was him in August. He's been in his current shape since January at the latest. The fact that he claims to have tested clean tells me either he's the worst liar ever or Doctor Z-Pak read his piss test.

Lets celebrate with the dance of his people Jinder probably has a stadium booked for his debut there as a conquering hero. Mahabali Shera has a soundstage without air conditioning and running water.

Honestly, I love everything about this. I was down on Jinder like seemingly everyone else back when it looked like he injured Finn. But it turned out Finn was fine, and between his sleepwalking through the Wyatt feud and his "indy guys can't work" spiel I'm utterly sick of Orton, so **** it, put the belt on Jinder. It's something different at least.

I still think Mahal isn't juicing or taking a form of steroid
This isn't the 80's or even the 90's/Early 2000's, if Jinder got popped for something bad in his system, it would be HORRIBLE for WWE in the PR department, and Jinder is not worth that risk...

Yeah, the Finn stuff was overblown like crazy given that dude didn't even miss A show, let alone many shows.

The fact that he claims to have tested clean tells me either he's the worst liar ever or Doctor Z-Pak read his piss test. Or, inexplicably, Jinder is signed to a Brock Lensar Part-Timer contract, and therefore doesn't have to even take a piss test.

I would, but if it is supposedly getting as bad as it is, and in light of Madison's notice, I'd rather not risk it. Outside of liking posts, that is. Seems to be the safest route.
