As much as his output is altering in quality (looking at you all the films since Unbreakable), I'll be there first day. I do love Unbreakable. Guess this is my final excuse to not bother with Split.

Yep, I am so there. Unbreakable and Split were amazing. Very interested to see Night's cinematic universe with this storyline.

I can not argue with this. A sequel to his two best movies is a solid deal.
I really hope the twist is Mr.Glass caused The Happening.

I do wish that since Split is in the same setting, they could say "Oh, he didn't actually ever have D.I.D., that was just a superpower thing." Would maybe get some of the criticism off.

I've yet to see Split, but it looks decent - at least by most of his standards for the last fifteen years. If he can return to form after two great films in Sixth Sense and Unbreakable then good luck to him.

Got to be fair to old mr shamalan on split. It was pretty good and the bit at the end got a legit ,Ron Simmons style damn out of me. Fingers crossed this is good.

I didn't bother with Split because the trailer put me off, now I know this I will definitely check it out because Unbreakable was cool.

Post-credits scene will reveal that it's actually not a sequel at all but it's a movie within a movie in the same universe as the other two films.

I just watched "Split" last weekend and I thought it was generally fine. I thought it was trending in the right direction to start but got a little bogged down in the second half with too much screen time devoted to the psychologist and I also didn't love the ridiculous turn it took in the final 20 or so minutes with the reveal of "The Beast".
But after the post-credits scene and now this upcoming tie-in with "Unbreakable", I feel a little more on board with the movie and also this upcoming sequel. Had I known where the movie was going to end up, I probably would have appreciated the final act as it was happening, instead of rolling my eyes at it.

A follow-up to Unbreakable has been talked about for so long it almost felt like one of those pipe dream things that clearly will never come to fruition. I'm pretty excited this is going down.

It seems shamalan will have a better built cinematic universe before DC does.

I haven't seen Split but might give it a watch.
I watched The Visit last night after a long period of ignoring M Night's movies and really enjoyed it. I guessed what the twist was going to be but didn't mind that I saw it coming since it was still a good twist and made sense. Plus the Grandma was genuinely creepy as hell.
Since I enjoyed that I'll probabably give Split a watch.

I want Unbreakable guy to team up with Haley Joel Osment who is brought in because he can see/communicate with dead people, and that is needed.
