Forever Filly
Great episode, first of all great to see Sassy Saddles again, she is one of the prettiest ponies in the series, I am hoping she appears in the upcoming Equestria Girls specials, I want to see her human form.
Once again, this is an episode whose lesson can apply to adults as much as kids, and they didn't keep the kids out of it, by applying the puppy lesson plot. so they can relate.
And they did a great job of showing hoe Sweetie Bell has matured, not just say it, but show it, especially how Sweetie Bell responded to Rarity babying her. When she finally tol the Rarity, they did it in a mature way she didn't yell "I am grown it, I am not baby" and run off like a little kid which would defeat the whole purpose. She tried her best to show her maturity and not so call, it is only Rarity would not listen she lost it for a moment, that is understandable.
And I love the way Rarity accepted that by watching Sweetie Bell in action.
And the CMC they help ponies even after they get their cuties marks, you can still have cutie mark emergencies and lack of understanding identity, Diamond Tiara is a prime example of that. BTW when we are going to get our post redemption Diamond Tiara episode, I am waiting for it.
Anyway good episode.

"Forever Filly"...gets a 7/10 from me. Pros: -The cold open and the beginning at the Canterlot Boutique were some very nice scenes. Sassy Saddles is always a pleasure to see and seeing her getting freaked out while Rarity remained calm and collected was a hoot. And their interaction was very lovely to see. -Zipporwhill is an adorable filly (even if I cannot quite get her accent...Russian?) and her storyline with Ripley was quite nice to see and made for a great support to the Rarity/Sweetie Belle storyline -The ending bit at the ice cream parlor was very sweet Cons: -I don't know what it is but the episode just did not click with me. There were not a large majority of laughs to be had and no particular interesting or exciting moments. The episode felt really ho-hum most of the time. I know some say that about "Fluttershy Leans In" but that episode somehow drew me in more than this one did. Maybe it was because the activities Rarity and Sweetie Belle did were not as over the top as it should have been. While I don't want the characters sniping at each other, but I felt something like Sweetie Belle behaving more like Max in the first Goofy Movie might have made for a more engaging episode. As it was, it was just...cozy and comfortable a conflict. -The bit with the sculptor colt could have been cut out because it was superfluous I felt. Why not start at the treehouse (lol) directly? -Rarity's reaction to Sweetie Belle telling her off came off as a bit petty. Perhaps they should have gone with something like going directly to Sweetie Belle helping Zipporwhill, Sweetie realizing Rarity's motive, finding her downtrodden, having a talk and then solving this. Still, it is definitely not on the same level as MDW which is why it gets a 7/10 from me.

Having seen the full episode, final score for Hard to Say Anything is... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}6.5/10.
Some good development for Big Macintosh is the major bright spot an in an otherwise obnoxious episode. The CMC's costume antics got an occasional smile, but little else. Sugar Belle probably could just a bit more character stuff to make her eventual romance with Big Mac interesting, and had they started the episode in the village, they probably would have had time for it. The cringe was big in this one and it felt it overstayed its welcome, especially with Feather Bangs; even with the save in the epilogue I still found myself hating him.
Better than Fluttershy Leans In, if by sheer virtue of a conflict actually happening, but even the flawed Flurry of Emotions managed the wacky antics better.

Always want to hug Rarity when she cries. I dunno that running mascara makes her look even more alluring to comfort her.

I feel like Season 7 has been kind of up and down. It has good episodes like Celestial Advice, Rock Solid Friendship, Parental Glideance and Flurry of Emotions. But it also has episodes like Fluttershy Leans In, Forever Filly, and Hard to Say Anything.

For me, after just the first 5 episodes, it has been a good season, not a great one.

...so, I somehow managed to catch the two episodes AFTER this one, because... I dunno, I guess this is my fate. To be in the future. Episode Seven.{Spoiler}7. It was kinda interesting comparing Scootaloo's obsessive Dash fandom to the fandom of her folks. And I liked that it showed where Rainbow Dash got her UNYIELDING EGO confidence in herself, and also how parents can be embarrassing. Plus, the way that the other Wonderbolts continued to bust on her for being the newbie (in more subtle ways) was nice. Also, FILLY WONDERBOLTS AUGH MY KIDNEYS.
But ye gods, her folks were annoying. Episode Eight.{Spoiler}*gasp* A Big Mac episode! And shipping! And continuity! And the CMC "helping", making things worse! And... and a Bieber pony. (WHY) That should dock, like, a billion points, but I won't be a YouTube comment.
So, like... it gets an 8.
