*Waves. So I apparently had some "Use or lose" time at work, so I'm home. And for @desertassassin, someone to greet you now that you're safely in Canada.

So, on another board, I started a discussion asking if Equestria was a planet, or was part of a whole other alternate universe. Celestia and Luna's tasks veer more toward it being the latter, but we've never really gone into cosmology in this show's verse, and there's been no indication of life on other planets. Also, while we're at it, is the Equestria Girls world meant to be Earth (I've only seen the first movie)?

8/10. Best moment for me this season, plus a good Applejack story with a believable moral about how being honest about something doesn't mean you have to be harsh with your opinion. The only thing that hurts it is the ending does feel like too much of a cop out.

"Honest Apple"...gets a 9/10 from me.
Pros:
-I can have never enough Rarijack in my life, so this episode already has me in the palm of its hands from the start. Loved the subtle callback to how far Rarity has come in Equestria's fashion world ever since "Suited For Success" and how she now wants to help other aspiring designers to reach the same heights as her. Applejack also had a nice role in learning that being honest has to be brought across tactfully sometimes and the truth can hurt someponies unintentionally, leading to a very good moral.
-The return of Hoity Toity and Photo Finish was nice to see and I found them to be pretty likable. Well, Hoity Toity was never a bad pony honestly, but Photo Finish's portrayal here was an improvement over the last time she had a major role in the show (laughed at the faint gag they had with her during the episode).
-The three aspiring designers were also pretty decent and varied enough to bring about entertaining scenes. Of the three, I have to say Inky Rose I liked the best (good thing they gave her name before the fandom named her something Addams Family-related) and she would probably be very good friends with Moonlight Raven.
-Story had a good flow and pace, most of the jokes were very funny (Rarity shredding, Applejack meeting her new archnemesis etc.) and no scene felt like it went on too long.
Cons:
-Small nitpicks include: Since when are Rarity and Photo Finish on such good terms? Didn't Photo treat Rarity poorly in "Green Isn't Your Color"? And seriously, DHX, we know that you had to change Coco's name to Ms. Pommel. You did not have to say her name 5-6 times over the course of the episode.
But all in all, a wonderful episode: 9/10.

Since when are Rarity and Photo Finish on such good terms? Likely since her name became more recognized (being the owner of three successful boutiques, including one in Canterlot)

That makes sense. Luckily, Spike managed to hide the fact that he practically stalks Rarity 24/7

Very good episode. Liked the dynamics between Rarity and AJ. And of course Rarity shredding the guitar was quite unexpected and awesome.

Uhm, could you say her name some more? I don't think I have quite gotten her name is "Ms. Pommel" now.

Rainbow Dash wearing the purple contact lenses while being her alter ego "Photo Finish" is genius.

Moonlight Raven has always looked for a friend like Inky Rose to be her friend.

Inky Rose has rather long legs. Must be tough to walk, no wonder she couldn't get away from AJ.

Man, I feel bad for Party Favor. It looked like him and Sugar Belle were gonna become an item, and so forth. Now Big Mac and Sugar Belle are a thing, and that leaves poor Party Favor out in the co- Huh.....nevermind. Move along.
