If Hogan had been around and had the popularity he had 20 years after the fact, I believe he probably would've had a better film career. The opportunities for guys like Rock and Batista these days are just insane. I don't know if he would though. As great as he was at playing Hulk Hogan, he's never show ANY ability to play anything else. Any role he's done, it's pretty much just bee the Hulkster. Don't forget though, that The Rock went through that same stigma before he really got to show what he could do. I'm not evem saying Hogan would've ended up a GREAT actor, but I think he would've improved beyond what we've seen. I can see him filling that straight to DVD action niche quite well, maybe hooking back up with Stallone for a supporting role.

Zeus had a better movie career than Hogan. In fairness it's hard to top being the "Give it to me, I'll do what needs to be done," guy on the boat in Dark Knight. Harrison Ford Michael Douglas Bill Pullman Morgan Freeman Jamie Foxx Aaron Eckhart Tommy "Tiny" Lister These men have played the President of the United States of America. Zeus wins.

Zeus played the President of the Intergalactic Federated Territories. He wins over all of them.

Zeus was in Zootopia, so he's automatically a much higher grossing wrestler in the movies than Hogan ever was. To be fair, Zeus is more a character actor that dabbled in wrestling. The man was on Matlock for goodness' sake, even The Rock can't touch that.

Zeus had a better movie career than Hogan. Jesse Ventura, Roddy Piper, and John Cena have all had better movie careers than Hogan. Literally the only thing of worth Hogan has ever done on film is that one scene in Rocky III. Gremlins 2: The New Batch?! Also, Hogan was allegedly in the running, or at least on the list, to play Mr. Freeze in "Batman & Robin." Make of that what you will.

Batista easily.
Batista is the better actor too. Hogan has one setting... and that's Hulkster.

Yeah, I went there. I'd have loved the Freezester though.

Batista and this is pretty much a no contest.
The only film that Hogan did that made any money was his sex tape.

Mr. Nanny had a random guy in the background throwing a Dog into the ocean, maybe Hogan does win

Batista has worked with Marvel, Christoph Waltz, Jodi Foster, Daniel Craig, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Stallone, DeNiro, Van Damme, Rza, Ron Pearlman, vin Diesel, Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford.
Marvel GotG and Avengers, Bond 24, Bladerunner, Kick Boxer, Riddick, Escape Plan 2. He is hot right now. Doing an indy with Jodi Foster. Dudes second to the Rock only because Rock has more years into it and fell into the Furious franchise. Had those not been a factor I'd argue Batista has the best wrestling to Hollywood career.

I'm not sure I would compare Batista to the Rock, the Rock has shown more versatility and can headline films while Batista, good as he can be, I'm not sure he's there yet.
Now, Hogan, I think his handling of the drug and steroid scandals are what killed his film career rather than any lack of talent, as Batista and the Rock have shown, wrestlers can become good hands if given time and decent material to work with. Hogan tanked any chance of becoming an action hero when he went on Arsenio Hall's show and lied and lied and better lied in an unconvincing way, rather than owning up and saying he made mistakes, but is trying to learn from them like so many other athletes who have been caught out. He could have been the guy who made a career taking the roles Arnie and Stallone turned down (Like Suburban Commando), but he just blew it.

Batista and it's not even close. people are going to remember a great character/performance like Drax for years but 98% of the population would be hard-pressed to remember ANY of Hogan's movies (MAYBE Suburban Commando and even then just for the "I Was Frozen, Today" meme that wasn't even Hogan's doing)

Hogan might've had a chance at crossing over at one time but he didn't put any actual work into it.

Zeus had a better movie career than Hogan. You don't have the power to release the Kraken and not be well connnected in Hollywood. Oh wait you meant...

Batista. I'm looking forward to seeing him in Blade Runner 2. He's getting a lot more roles lately so that resume is going to get even bigger in the next few years.
